sadly i cant recommend this game. i guess you could say it has too much potential its a cool concept but the way they did it leaves way to much to be desired and this is saying something i got this for $2.50
Hra má hezkou grafiku ale absolutně nechápu co se tam dělá :/ Je to podobné The Binding Of Isaac.
La idea es genial, si lo juegas con amigos en casa a ver quien llega mas lejos, pero de ahí en fuera es demasiado malo, no tiene selección de niveles lo cual lo hace demasiado tedioso, no lo recomiendo en nada.
Socketeer is a top-down sci-fi sneaky-shooter where your fragile meat body is basically an afterthought and the real game is: > 1. Hack robot > 2. Become robot > 3. Ruin robot’s life > 4. Bail into a new robot before the old one explodes You’re a tiny hacker goblin sneaking around spaceships, plugging into anything with a circuit board, and treating an entire AI workforce like disposable rental cars. --- ### Gameplay in a Nutshell * See angry robot * Jack into angry robot * Now you **are** angry robot * Use it to shoot other angry robots * Forget it has limited HP and die with it * Respawn as squishy human and repeat your mistakes It’s possession, but with more sockets and less religion. --- ### Pros * **Every enemy is a potential power-up.** That big scary combat bot? Hack it. Turret? Hack it. Tiny maintenance drone? Hack it and crash it into a wall for comedy value. * Beautiful emergent stupidity: * Turn their own defenses against them * Start robot civil wars * Sit back and watch chaos while you hide behind a crate pretending this was all part of the plan * Plays like a mix of: * Twin-stick shooter * Stealth game * IT department meltdown * Squishy human form is weak but mobile; hacked forms are strong but doomed. It’s like choosing between “alive and pathetic” or “deadly and on a timer.” * Nothing feels better than chain-hacking: jump from dying robot → into nearby turret → into heavier bot → into boss mech like some kind of cybernetic parasitic raccoon. --- ### Cons * When you’re out of hackable bodies, you remember very quickly that your base form has the durability of wet cardboard. * Occasionally you lose your host in 0.3 seconds because you didn’t notice the twenty rockets being politely delivered to your face. * Controls get *spicy* when the room is full of explosives, allies, enemies, and you’ve forgotten which robot you’re currently wearing. * Sometimes you die and have absolutely no idea what happened except “too much electricity, not enough brain.” --- ### Peak Socketeer Moments * Hacking a turret to “help you out,” then forgetting friendly fire exists and getting absolutely shredded by your new best friend. * Possessing a big heavy combat bot, strutting into a room like a god, immediately walking into an explosive barrel and evaporating. * Causing a massive robot shootout, hiding in a vent, and emerging 30 seconds later like, “Wow, can’t believe they all turned on each other… wild.” * Rapid-fire body hopping across a corridor while alarms blare, enemies scream, everything catches fire, and you’re just looking for one more half-healthy robot to ruin. --- **8.5/10** A crunchy, chaotic little cyber-possessing romp where every enemy is both a threat and a temporary upgrade, and your real skill is knowing when to abandon the burning mech you just stole. Would once again log in as a fragile hacker, hijack the meanest robot in the room, drive it directly into a mine, and immediately pretend that was “data collection.”
pretty funny and serious
game has very little ways to play it more than once or twice. the idea is so cool but the execution is so ♥♥♥♥
