i wanted to like it and it has its charm at times but overall i cant recommend for others to buy it

For a dollar (but not much more, particularly during a broader Steam sale), I'd say it's more or less fine - think Postal 2 kusoge with a thematic dash of Hitman/Manhunt. Soldier of Fortune gameplay, some would say, but I don't recall being an invincible crackhead in that one. Tons of bugs (some game-breaking), more pointless edge than a redneck knife catalog, and every excuse to scythe through a couple hundred hostile morons. Bosses are generally differentiated from mooks via slightly obnoxious gimmick battles - chase a guy on a jet ski, or run up on a bulletproof idiot and mash melee attacks until one registers, that sort of thing. One-note, quickly resolved. Guns are surprisingly okay, actually - true ADS across the board and an unusually legitimate revolver with a wonky inverse trigger pull as a workaround to portraying a DA trigger. Again, it's fine for a buck, but the price-point's doing the work of Atlas here.

A goofy, but fun janky game. Has a strange mechanic where your bullets are fast and enemy bullets are slow even out of bullet time. Honestly I like it but it may be too janky for some people.

yeah its worth a buck but jesus the boss fights suck, especially when you want to have fun with the rest of the game. If you desire any kind of challenge you need to raise the difficulty past the point that includes checkpoints. it claims to save before the boss fights but this never happens so i just end up breaking the level, avoiding the shooting gallery ive passed 300 times before, to reach the boss fight. i dont think its unfairly difficult or too jank but the boss fights and broken checkpoints ruin it. cant really recommend it because of this but its not bad its just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ annoying

This. game. is. jank. If you can stomach constant adversity due to copious bugs and lack of polish, this game has a decent amount going for it. Some levels were just cathartic fun, while others were akin to pulling teeth. I do feel compelled to get all the secrets later on, but 100%ing the game's achievements seems to be an absolute slog, as the highest difficulty seems like no joke, and killing 10,000 enemies seems borderline impossible to do without disassociating after awhile. Still, it has some good setpieces and gimmicks, alongside a simple yet oddly satisfying gib system (close to something like Postal), but it also has a ton of rough spots and overall bad levels/chunks of levels (the mw2 ripoff snow ride section made me want to give my keyboard bite marks). That being said, if you have a little cash to burn, well, you sure could burn it in worse ways.

It's not a particularly 'good' game, but for 1€ and the sheer amount of soul it has, i would recommend it to pretty much anyone who likes shooties
