SnowRunner

I wanted to play a bit of SnowRunner again, but the game is completely bugged out. Trucks and trailers suddenly start moving sideways or backwards, as if an invisible force were pushing them, and you can't even steer against it. Even with the handbrake on, they keep moving at a weird angle. And if you’re "lucky," the UI, the truck, and the trailer start shaking and bouncing like a lowrider on crack until everything ends up upside down or stuck in a tree. This has happened to me on various maps with different trucks. Not always, but when it does happen, it’s always mud, or worse, a mix of water and mud. It only needs to be bumper-high, and suddenly it feels like you’re in a river fighting the current, where even the winch cable is useless. Whereas in pure mud, with a bit of luck, you might be able to pull yourself out sideways. Still, though... what the hell? You’ll be driving along normally with no issues, until you hit some specific parts of these maps. The best part is, I looked it up online and apparently someone else had the exact same thing happen four years ago, though it seems to be way worse in my case. And there's no saving the situation, since you can't get through that "magnetic field", and if it's the only way through (or the only way you *have* to go), then that's it. Reloading the map, going to the main menu, restarting the game... nothing helps. Aside from that, I also feel like they’ve somehow ruined the game overall; even with the absolute best trucks and gear, driving through just a few centimeters of dirt slows me down to what feels like 2 km/h, as if immense friction were causing everything to stick. As far as I recall, that used to happen only when you were truly bogged down in mud up to the middle of the tires or higher, not just from a mere 3 or 4 centimeters of churned-up dirt. I’ve also just noticed that after sometime after I take a vehicle out of the workshop and accelerate normally, shifting up to 5th gear, it suddenly slows down and drops all the way back to 1st gear as soon as I cross the yard boundary. It doesn't even come close to gaining enough speed to shift up again. It feels like I'm stuck or there's massive friction, crawling along at a snail's pace (like 2 km/h), however, the tires partially spin (so the speed isn't simply reduced). The strange thing is, the surface is the exact same asphalt I was driving on just seconds earlier when I successfully accelerated into 5th gear. Like I said, something is completely messed up.
