GOOD GAME

good

From the outset this seems like a rather dull and boring subject for a game, but once you start playing and shifting loads around it become very entertaining and addictive, espacially once you earm money and can start purchasing bigger and better equipment. Graphics are good, music is a bit too country for my tastes, so I turned it right down, Only kind of issue is there is not enought info on what the various trailers and truck load configurations are for, and what they are used for, I had to ask ChatGP what to use to carry long logs.

I have probably 500+ hrs on the Xbox version, and completed the base game and some DLC. I love delivery driving games specifically because of snowrunner. Once they introduced custom saves without money restrictions and everything unlocked, the game really became S tier. It is so much fun to run convoys with friends, use different trucks, take super long runs. Or split up and tackle small missions, help each other complete stuff, ect. You could/can even play on DLC maps you don't have, but friends do. Mods are nice as well, not really necessary but they do help with some QOL. Honestly my only complaint is the difficulty of DLC's, addition of logging, and occasional save bugs. Base game has some tough areas, but nothing compared to certain DLC maps. I wish more had been toned down to allow for some challenge, and much more paved and plain dirt roads. Not everything needs to be death defyingly hard. Medium and long logs make tough runs even more frustrating, and they're far too prevalent across all maps. Last I played [years ago] there were also major multiplayer save bugs causing sometimes hours of progress lost. I'd assume that's fixed now, but can't confirm. Even with it's faults, snowrunner is the definitive delivery sim for me. Open world, big truck roster, crossplay multiplayer, thousands of hrs of DLC. You can't go wrong really.
