Embora seja um título um pouco datado, este jogo se destaca pela qualidade excepcional, narrativa envolvente e jogabilidade refinada. É fácil entender por que os fãs de jogos de combate são tão apaixonados por ele. Minha primeira incursão na franquia foi com Sniper Elite 5, uma verdadeira obra-prima; no entanto, retornar ao terceiro capítulo me permite conhecer melhor a história e vivenciar, ainda que parcialmente, a origem do caçador Fairburn. Espero que a Rebellion preserve esse clássico e expanda seu universo, pois este jogo não só vale cada centavo investido, como também cumpre brilhantemente tudo o que se propõe a fazer. Para não ficar apenas no entusiasmo, acrescento aqui uma crítica — ainda que um pouco indevida, afinal estamos falando do terceiro título. Uma sacada brilhante da Rebellion, que posteriormente foi implementada no V, foi o chamado "Modo Invasão". Porém, percebi que a parte multiplayer dele está meio que morta, o que é compreensível, já que o jogo atual, Sniper Elite: Resistance, acaba sendo tratado como uma versão 6.0 (ou um derivado do V) e ainda se passa na França ocupada. Esse é o mal de ter começado já lá na frente, pela sequência mais nova. Quem acompanha a franquia desde muito antes, certamente, assimilou essa evolução e viu com mais clareza o quanto a série cresceu ao longo do tempo.
