Sweet short little horror game with great atmosphere. I really liked the old style of it. The only thing that would have made this better would have been a free roaming ai like Aka Manto. Best horror games have enemies that can get everywhere any time but in this case, you need good hiding mechanics. However, it was still a solid game.
Bagus. Termasuk game simple, puzzle tidak terlalu susah, dan juga horror nya dapet. Terutama pas lagi di kejar sama hantunya. Kalian harus cobain guys. Hoho...

very good game, also the story but it's too short
Slit Mouthed is a horror game about two security guards in the mansion of a recently diseased author that was obsessed by an urban legend and recently died in the same manner as that legend tells about. It's Nyxtales second game after Teke Teke, a game I didn't like much at all. This game is a very big improvement over the previous one, improving on a lot of gameplay elements and completely fixing some of the really bad parts and technical issues. For one, Teke Teke had some odd controls that could not be rebound, and the mouse sensitivity option was all out of whack. This game has good controls that are completely rebindable. Another problem I had with the previous game was that a lot of key items were extremely hard to find, tiny keys lost in shadows and such. That only happened to me once in this game but at least it's in a fairly small room that it should logically be in, and you do have a flashlight which doesn't run out of batteries so you don't have to be stingy with your light. There is stealth based sections in the game but unlike in Teke Teke they are not instant death if you are spotted, although health is quite sparse so you can't screw up too many times. If you reach an ending you didn't like, you don't have to replay the entire game, but you can load from a save made right before the point of no return. Like the first game this one looks pretty good, especially the environments, although a few rooms do feel a bit empty and there is something weird going on with the shadows if you look down at your feet with your flashlight on. It's also a bit odd that you turn off your flashlight when examining items, having to look at them in complete darkness most of the time. The game has Japanese voice acting and it's quite good, the intro however is just white text on black background with neither voice acting, music or ambiance, that did feel quite incomplete compared to the rest of the game. My first playthrough took me 56 minutes, the game has three endings but only one of them requires extra things to be done before the ending, the other two are just different choices being made right at the very end.
- Nice atmosphere and level is creepy feeling building and not stupid too often jump scare spam. - Game story is interesting Japanese myth stuff, nicely different/refreshing than those many times seen basic copy paste stylish horror games in steam. - Some times feels little bit janky in game play and some boring level design but understandable because not big studio and this is old game from them. - But overall nice to play through, i mostly enjoyed so 6/10.
I wouldn't say that this is a "Very Positive" type of game, but it's not a bad game either. It's like 6 out of 10. This mostly feels like a decent, short horror game that you might want to play one boring night in which you don't feel like spending long hours playing a longer game with a deep story... Yes, I would recommend this game, but it wouldn't be in my top list of horror games recommendations because it's quite average.
