Slip is a fast paced side scrolling platformer featuring a two color, swap mechanic. Using your two colors flee from Steve and his wretched purple beam through a multitude of obstacles and enemies. Slip combines the elegant simplicity of platforming with a polarity mechanic to create an easy to learn, but extremely difficult to master...
Slip

Slip is a basic 3D rendered 2D endless runner/platformer where you run to the right all the time to avoid a nasty purple beam. The gimmick is that you need to change between "red" and "blue" colours to negotiate some of the obstacles. Unreal is a pretty good game engine, so I'm not sure how Handsome Games managed to make this look so bad, but they did. Clumsy low poly/voxel looking graphics really bring the quality crashing down to the same low levels as the tired endless runner gameplay. Developers must learn that Minecraft succeeded despite the bad graphics, not because of them. A lot of indie developers see Minecraft's success and assume it's because it looks bad, not because it had unique and appealing game mechanics, and they try to emulate the success without understanding it. That's why reviewers are faced with so many of these terrible games with confrontingly bad graphics.

A game with awful controls that tries too hard to be like Super Meat Boy and BIT.TRIP RUNNER.
Handsome Games? HA! don't flatter yourself
A gimmicky, generic, repetitive platformer which is a derivative and poorly executed mashup of too many ideas from other games. Frustrating games can be fine, but the checkpoints should be closer together - there's no point forcing me to replay the sections I've already worked out.
