Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.14/day in the week to Aug 18 → 3.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Slice To Meet You turns the simple act of chopping food into a laid-back incremental experience built around steady growth, customization, and the satisfaction of watching small actions produce increasingly valuable rewards. Developed and published by Lumamind Studio, the game deliberately avoids the pressure normally associated with restaurant or cooking games. There are no demanding customers or strict timers pushing the player forward. Instead, the experience is designed around finding a comfortable rhythm, slicing ingredients, earning money, and deciding how those earnings should be invested into the next stage of progression. Its main gameplay loop is immediately understandable. Every ingredient that gets sliced generates money, which can then be spent to unlock additional products and more profitable ingredients. The economy gradually expands as new milestones are reached, giving each session a clear sense of forward movement. This is fundamentally an incremental game, so much of its appeal comes from seeing modest earnings grow into much larger returns. There is nearly always another ingredient or improvement waiting ahead, providing short-term objectives that keep the repetitive chopping mechanic connected to meaningful progression. Collecting blades adds another incentive beyond simply accumulating currency. Different knives become available throughout the journey, allowing players to gradually assemble a larger collection of tools. While the actual interaction remains intentionally uncomplicated, unlocking equipment makes progression feel more tangible. Instead of advancement being represented entirely by increasing numbers, players regularly receive visible additions to their kitchen. This works particularly well for completion-oriented players who enjoy filling out collections and reaching every available milestone. Kitchen customization provides one of the more interesting layers because decorative objects are connected to gameplay bonuses. Cutting boards, tables, plates, and other furnishings can be arranged to create a personalized workspace, but these items are more than visual decorations. Equipment can improve slicing speed or increase profits, encouraging experimentation with different combinations. Players interested primarily in aesthetics can build a kitchen they enjoy looking at, while those who prefer efficiency can concentrate on finding combinations that improve their earning potential. It is a simple management system, but it adds welcome decision-making to an otherwise highly repetitive formula. The customizable radio is another thoughtful addition to the relaxed presentation. Different musical styles can accompany the slicing routine, including jazz, tavern-inspired music, rock, hip-hop, pop, and electronic selections. Being able to adjust the musical atmosphere is particularly appropriate for an idle-oriented experience where players may spend long stretches repeating similar actions. The ability to choose an appropriate mood helps prevent the kitchen from feeling completely static and complements the broader emphasis on playing at one's own pace. Visually, the pixel-based presentation supports the cozy atmosphere without unnecessarily complicating the screen. Food, kitchen equipment, and the surrounding environment are presented in a way that fits the casual nature of the mechanics. It should be mentioned that the developer discloses the use of AI assistance for some visual assets and music. This does not directly change the mechanics, but it is relevant information for players who consider asset-production methods when deciding whether to purchase a game. The main drawback is repetition, which is unavoidable given the concept. Players spend a considerable amount of time slicing ingredients so that they can earn more money, buy improvements, and become better at generating additional money. Anyone expecting elaborate cooking mechanics, narrative development, challenging restaurant management, or constantly evolving gameplay may find the experience too limited. Its progression systems enhance the central loop rather than fundamentally transforming it. That distinction is important because the game works best when approached as a relaxing incremental title rather than a detailed cooking simulation. For the intended audience, however, that simplicity is arguably an advantage. There is very little friction between starting a session and making progress. Unlocking ingredients, collecting blades, improving kitchen equipment, optimizing bonuses, and pursuing achievements provide several overlapping goals without introducing excessive complexity. The absence of time pressure also makes it suitable for short sessions when players simply want something uncomplicated and satisfying. Its progression can provide the familiar feeling of wanting to reach just one more upgrade before stopping. Steam Deck compatibility is less definitive. The Steam store page does not currently display an official Steam Deck compatibility rating for the game, so it should not be described as Verified or Playable without qualification. Given the relatively straightforward nature of the experience, it may potentially work through Proton, but players specifically purchasing it for Steam Deck should treat compatibility as unverified and check current community reports or Valve's compatibility status before relying on it for handheld play. Overall, this is a focused incremental experience that understands the attraction of turning a tiny repetitive action into a larger progression system. The slicing itself is simple, but the surrounding economy, ingredient unlocks, blade collection, functional decorations, kitchen optimization, music selection, and achievements give players multiple reasons to continue. It will not satisfy someone searching for a deep culinary simulator, and its repetition will inevitably be divisive, but those who enjoy cozy idle games may appreciate how comfortably its systems fit together. It is an easygoing game about watching a humble kitchen routine steadily become more productive, with enough customization to give that journey some personality. Rating: 8/10

Schönes Idle Game für Zwischendurch. Hübsche Grafik, geile Radiostationen, Humorvoll und knallbunt.
Very relaxing game. I started by slicing everything myself, then slowly automated the whole factory. When I unlocked different radio stations, I found myself chopping to the rhythm of the music. Chop, chop, chop. I just wish there were more vegetables and things to slice.
This game is good. I thought it was fun and I liked the soundtrack. I won't give it ♥♥♥♥ about being made with AI even though I'd prefer it have not been made with it. My current problem is it won't load. There's some kind of fatal error happening every time I try to boot the game up. I'll uninstall and then reinstall to see if that fixes it. My other problem is the fact it made it sound like you could boost prestige items after you acquire them all and I'd spent a long time collecting chef hats thinking that was a thing. I was wrong. Bottom line is I spent 138 enjoying myself with this game and if it weren't for the crash message, I would spend more so yes: I recommend it.
nice game
I really liked this game.
I was locked in 10/10
The game is pretty fun and it delivers what is advertised, it perfectly fills the spot as a short idle/clicker. [strike]That being said, achievements currently don't work. I'll happily change this to a positive review once achievements become unlockable![/strike] The achievements have since been fixed and are unlockable now! Can't wait to see what else the devs come up with for this game and other future projects!
Quite a fun incremental. The physics of the food is satisfying, the cutting mechanic feels smooth, the upgrade progression never felt too slow or too fast. All in all, a good game for a good price.
