Playing this in the big 26 and still this a great game, i would say a gritty more serious GTA set in hong kong tbh

How the ♥♥♥♥ did this game never get a sequel? I finally played Sleeping Dogs and ended up getting the platinum, and honestly, this is one of those games where I finished it and immediately wanted more. The combat is so much fun. Beating the ♥♥♥♥ out of people and using basically everything around you as a weapon never gets old. I also really liked Hong Kong as the setting. It gives the game a completely different feeling from most open-world games, and just driving around at night with the city lights everywhere is still pretty cool. The story was probably the biggest surprise for me. I actually got invested in Wei Shen and his whole situation, and the undercover cop stuff made the story way more interesting than I expected. It's definitely not perfect and you can feel its age in some parts, but I honestly didn't care that much. I got the platinum, had a great time with it and now I'm just sitting here wondering why Square Enix never gave us Sleeping Dogs 2. **Great game. Criminally underrated.**

For this game being 10 years old the graphics are fantastic as well as the gameplay the fighting mechanics are also really good they are even better than some fighting mechanics now the game is very good the story and the gameplay even after you beat the game there are still a lot of things to do like the dlc and the zodiac tournament
