• Master a living deck. Some cards think for themselves. Others remember.

• Use powerful items. They're made to break the odds. Sometimes they break something else.

• Collect Drawn Cards. Permanent unlocks that remain with you between runs.

• Choose your Totems. A single relic can change an entire playstyle.

• Survive a living economy. Prices change, opportunities appear, investments pay off... or don't.

• Eat. Feed the cat. Sleep. Hunger kills. Neglect has consequences.

• Look for clues. Secrets are hidden throughout the room, but nothing points at them twice.

• Experiment. There are more systems to discover than anyone is willing to explain.

In Plain Terms

Sleep Aid is a first-person psychological horror game with roguelike elements, built around poker, strategy, and survival.

To do that, you'll need to survive long enough to keep playing. Every poker match follows familiar rules, but living cards, usable items, Totems, Drawn Cards, additional actions, and other mechanics can completely change how a hand is played.

Between matches you'll manage a dynamic economy, decide how to spend your money, eat to stay alive, care for your cat, and choose which risks are worth taking. There is no single correct strategy—different playstyles, investments, discoveries, and decisions can all lead to different outcomes.

The room hides clues, optional mechanics, and secrets that reveal more than the rules ever will. Whether you defeat the Dealer or fail trying depends entirely on the choices you make over those fourteen days.

One last thing.

Despite all the poker, Sleep Aid is not a gambling game.

There are no real-money bets, no deposits, and no payouts.

The only thing you're gambling with is your life.

Your wallet will be just fine.
