Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 24.71/day in the week to Sep 7 → 43.29/day in the week after.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

Reviews
its amazingly addictive............entirely frustrating trying to beat it with all characters before moving to the second game but still great
Solid roguelike deckbuilder with just the right mix of strategy and rng. 10/10, praise Snecko.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not for me.
This is a card based game where you fight battles over and over and it pretends to be a rogue/rogue - light. There are 4 characters, the iron clad, which is tanky, the silent, which is like a rouge. The other two characters I have not played. I find this game so unenjoyable that I don't feel I can keep grinding to unlock anything else. I am not unschooled in card based games. I've played magic the gathering, yugioh, and pokemon, all of which I have enjoyed. At the start of the spire, you decide on a special effect/buff. You start with 10 cards in your deck and 3 mana points. Cards have mana cost displayed at the top of cards. You start the game with 5 cards in your hand. After playing your turn, you discard your entire hand and draw a new hand. When your deck is exhausted, your discard pile is shuffled and recycled. Combat: At the start of your turn you will see icons above enemy heads. This tells you if they intend to attack, defend, play buffs or de-buffs. Based on the cards in your hand, decide whether to attack and take damage and try to burn the enemy down, or defend and withstand attacks. Your cards can poison or reduce the strength or attack of enemies. Why this game is absolutely trash: You don't get to build a starting deck. Many of the cards have lots of synergy, so getting to decide on some other cards at the start besides base attack or base block would be more enjoyable. After enemies are defeated, you get gold, sometimes potions with special effects, and you can add 1 card to your deck. As you progress, you can encounter a trader to by cards and potions. If you encounter a campfire, you can decide on healing or upgrading a card. Lastly, cards you have upgraded as you play don't stay upgraded when you die. Your heroes get no keepable buffs either. This creates a game that is entirely dependent on RNG, without ANY character growth, and minimal chances to strategize. Not sure if any of that changes as your game levels up death after death. It's shallow and boring. This game has such positive ratings and I just don't understand what makes it so good for other people, but enjoyment is subjective. This isn't a rogue/rogue-lite, it's a gambling game. You might as well play poker instead of this game.
You've probably moved on to StS 2 by now, but the first one is still great.
