About
The world was not prepared for the invasion. In a few months, every kingdom of the known world surrendered to the magic-using invaders masquerading as our old Gods. But humanity has not given up yet! Those who dare to oppose the new world order formed the shadow council in secret, and they tasked You to lead the resistance against these false Gods in this turn-based tactical strategy game.
You will need to build and manage bases throughout the continent. These will provide the resources necessary to hire and equip your troops and learn more about the magic the invaders are using. Every region has a unique culture that gives access to different equipment, skills, and resources. You will always have to weigh the importance of the regions in the strategic situation you find yourself in.
The invaders' grip on the continent is not absolute... yet. But they have multiple armies conducting missions every month, and it is your job to figure out the best ways to slow down their advance. The invaders have their own goals they try to achieve with their armies, and they are constantly assessing how much danger the resistance poses to them, and they change those plans accordingly.
In combat, you will lead a 6-8 unit team, which you can fully customize with equipment and skills. To reinforce the customization, there are no classes, only attributes like sword-wielding or barbarian, which all units can learn. This gives you the freedom to mix and match them to create your perfect team.
The resistance managed to get a working teleporter, which serves as their biggest asset. With proper intel and smart unit placement, your team can teleport to exactly where you need them to be, giving you a head start on every mission. Position and teamwork are key to completing your objective.
The game is being built from the ground up to focus on replayability. There are multiple invading forces with different enemies and a reactive campaign AI necessitating a different approach. Nor you will be able to access or afford everything in one playthrough, giving ample space for experimenting with different approaches. Every invasion story will be yours to write. And humanity can only hope you are up to the task to save it from becoming Slaves of Magic!

A harc menete is dinamikusabb, mind a karakterek mozgását, mind a körök felosztását tekintve.
300.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7JBhRj9LTQo
Tried to play. six minutes of trying to deploy a troop and I am out. Basic working game first, trash,
This simply lacks the depth and gameplay of xcom (or phoenix point, or red solstace 2), nor does it satisfy my nostalgia.
The game has high build diversity and enemy differentiation, but very little way to showcase it due to the current campaign style. It is simultaneously too long to rapidly try new runs, while not designed for the invaders to fill out their armies by more than a few soldiers in one run or for you to really access every upgrade unless you drag it out. Overall a good time, but with a few changes this could be a real gem. It is still in pretty active development so hopefully such changes are done soon. If you are wavering on whether to try this game or not, just know it is obviously a passion project by people who care. I reported a few small bugs to their discord and they fixed it the very same day.
I'm still working through my first full playthrough, but I'm really enjoying this game. It feels like a rich, digital board game with satisfying tactical battles. While the combat isn't as deep as something like X-Com, it's fast, decent, and becomes more tactical as you unlock new weapons, magic, and unit levels. My main gripe is with unit customization—I often can't tell my units apart by their portrait or battle model, forcing me to constantly check their profiles. The skill system seems intriguing, though I'm still experimenting to see how useful all the options are. Overall, this is a great game with a lot of potential. I'm hopeful that minor UI and quality-of-life issues will be addressed to make it even more user-friendly. Recommended for tactical fans!
it's a xcom variant in a fantasy setting. The core of the game is the turn based tactical combat, it may be confusing at first, since it's very unique, it's structured in phases, but if you get the grasp of it, it's very engaging and interesting. The rest of the gamplay consists of base building, research and party management which also I find very well done. It's class based, you can assign different classes to a character and unlock class specific skills, so have a great flexibility in builds. Beware, the game is hard even at lower difficulty! On the negative side: The tutorial and in-game help are, for now, very limited in scope and desperately need a lot of more info to be helpful. The random character generation
I'm giving this game a thumbs up because I really want it to succeed. It has all the right ideas. Base building and territory management with tactical team battles similar to Xcom. The early game can be frustrating. Not everything is fully explained yet. I do not see any tutorial for "stamina" a key, unique resource during battle. Missing some common quality of life design choices, like unable to redo movement, unable to change difficulty after game start, I also haven't found a way to exit the game without task manager. I think an early game accessory needs to add Temp Health, that doesn't add to injury threshold. Xcom 2 started this in Long War of the Chosen, and it makes the gameplay feel a lot smoother. Right now, every hit is like 50% of your maximum. It feels like playing Xcom 2 without cover. Just unforgiving in a way that is not enjoyable. Bow/Ranged attacks are at 50-60% when in ideal range. My 55%'s felt like they were hitting 1/4 of the time. I had to reload constantly due to always missing shots. I am probably only like 3 hours into the game actually, not 6 because of reloading. I really love what they have going on though.
Grate indie title, the developer is very responsive and seems to me that does everything to make the game shine. They added many features based on community feedback! The “1.1 major update” released recently is another proof of this. The combat system is a bit unconventional, but clever and innovative, and the hints help to learn it quickly. Many very nice visual details helps to build immersion as well. All in all, a great fantasy XCOM title (turned based tactical combat, whose episodes linked in a campaign), I would definitely recommend if you are into those games!
