Skystead Ranch

Haven't had chance to play a lot of the game yet, but so far so good! My only complaint is the camera angle is facing downwards on the player. Excited to see how this develops:))

I play lots of cozy games but this one is different. You meet tons of cute creatures super early, You start with plenty of land (although cleaning it all up on day 1 felt like a grind). I love the theme, you play as a rancher with a magic crook. Night time in the game can be a bit long. Good to see the Devs improving the game with regular updates!

Reminds of Viva Pinata in a lot of ways though it currently feels really unfinished

《Skystead Ranch斯克斯特德牧场》是一款奇幻风格的牧场模拟游戏。游戏中玩家会来到天空岛，使用魔法耕种花园，与古怪的生物交朋友，将荒凉的天空岛改造成生机勃勃的避难所。 游戏的画风很独特，主角的造型非常的前卫，游戏中的各种奇怪生物造型也是千奇百怪，感觉像是《孢子》里的生物跑出来了一样，又好像是儿童涂鸦一样天马行空。 游戏目前是有简中和繁中的，但是翻译里充斥着大量的机翻，比如“earth”应该是指土地，但是游戏里却是翻译成了“地球”，chest箱子翻译成“胸部”更是机翻最常见的错误了，因此如果有一定的英文水平的话建议先用英文，如果用中文的话就需要自己多揣摩了。 故事发生在飘浮在天空的空岛上，这里是一个荒废的牧场。玩家会在一本会说话的魔法书帮助下，通过教程引导来改造牧场。主角的法杖是一个全能型的工具，可以施放改造、建造、破坏等类型的魔法，每个魔法下面还会有不同的分支，比如建造魔法下面会有已解锁的所有建筑，通过一个环形的菜单选择并建造，破坏魔法除了破坏木头石头获得资源外，还能用来挖洞并种植农作物。 游戏中玩家并没有生存方面的压力，也不需要将农作物或渔获等售卖给商人赚钱，而是需要为牧场里游荡的各种奇怪生物喂食，并且通过抚摸等促进他们成长。每种生物都有喜好的食谱，需要有针对性的喂食，按TAB可以调阅资料手册，相关的信息会随着玩家的举动而不断丰富。如果需要金钱的话，有个矿洞去门口逛一圈就能自动捡一些钱，把食物为给生物也能获得一些钱，钱可以用来在商人出解锁魔法和新的设施，也可以用来购买农作物和扩大牧场范围。将农作物种到挖出的洞里就会自动成长，点击即可收获。游戏中是没有天的设定的，玩家可以一直进行各种劳作，整体来说没有什么压力。 游戏目前旋转视角等操作上不是很方便，而施放魔法时会进入一个瞄准状态，此状态下移动速度和视角都会受到影响，总体来讲操作上手感不是很好。而施放各种魔法需要频繁切换，有些浪费操作。 总的来看，游戏有着独特的画风和比较新颖的玩法，简化了牧场经营相关的操作，一把魔杖就能通用，玩法的核心也从经营变成了照顾奇怪生物，没有生存压力，整体节奏很休闲。目前汉化存在很多机翻，操作的手感也不是很好，期待后续改进。 [code] [h1] 游戏由鉴赏家[b]杉果点评小分队[/b]提供[/h1] 给游戏选择困难症的玩家指路 成为我们的一员[url=http://steamcommunity.com/groups/SonkwoClub]小组首页[/url] 欢迎新朋友加入 [b]小分队群号：641445229[/b] (｡･∀･)ﾉﾞ [/code]

This is an adorable creature collector, with farming, fishing and cooking. If you like games like Animal Crossing, chances are you'll like this game too, especially if one of your favourite animal crossing feature was the critterpedia. I love this game, it has a lot of potential and is clearly a labour of love from the developers. It's actively being updated and developed, so there are currently bugs and a few features missing but the developers are fixing bugs and adding new features. I'll update my review as the game develops but I definitely recommend this game

This game is very cute It's very much a Creature Collector but you are changing the biomes of each area to attract new creatures I liked that a lot There are some bugs right now but hopefully they get those fixed The one these I did not like was the camera Took some getting use to the controls for it, interesting and not what i'm used to. The camera reminded me of Guild Wars 2. I did have to up the sensitivity cause moving the camera around made the game feel clunky. Once I had that upped. It was very easy to move around, except when using tools. The way the camera works while using a tool is very much like playing Luigis Mansion.

I very rarely leave reviews for games, but I had to for this one because I really want to support this dev team. I'd been looking forward to this game for so long, and I was so excited to finally get my hands on it this past week. I have quite a few thoughts on it, so here goes! The game is absolutely adorable. All of the Skylets are super cute and the environment is very happy and comfy. The animations that the Skylets do are also cute! The game can be quite buggy sometimes, but I have full confidence that the dev team will continue to patch it. It's only been a few days, and they have already pushed some updates. Not only that, but a game-breaking bug I had was fixed in a hotfix "just for me"! It's very clear how much the devs care about this project and want to see it succeed, so I think they will continue putting plenty of work into it! To be completely honest, the game isn't all that I had hoped for (YET!). I LOVED the viva pinata games on xbo360, so of course I had high hopes for this Skystead. It's got the right pieces though, and I think given some more time, it'll be closer to the game I was so hopeful for. I'm hoping for breeding mechanics, and hopefully variations of creatures like in VP. I know a storage system is in the works. I think having the Skylets sleep in their homes would be super cute too! In the meantime, it is still very enjoyable, and I'm only a small chunk of the way through the existing content. If you are willing to forgive some bugs here and there, and also to be patient for more exciting content in the future, but want a relaxing and cute game where you attract creatures to live on your farm, then definitely pick this game up and support the fantastic devs so they can keep making Skystead better. <3
