Darkest Dungeon type of Fights. Puzzles are hard (that if you're not as brain cell deficient like I am). Your actions will matter during the story. Watch your sanity crumble while playing. If you are stuck, go to the guides because oh boy.... they sure are helpful (sometimes). Stay sharp because you will forget with a bullet to the head.
Well if you don't think.. That's not a grim story.(poor Dylan)
Amazing game if you like puzzles packed with some great art too!

If im being honets i would love to see more combat. I love Darkest Dungeon and it was main reason why i wanted to try out this game. I love the art style it brings back many memories. Voice acting is on point and the characters are written really good. When it comes to puzzles some are fine and some are totall hell to do. I achived true ending but had to lean on guide from yt. I like the time loop thingy but repeating same and same dialogues is irritating without the possibility to fast foward them. When i first saw Pix i had a brain damage moment as he just looks totally out of pleace and if im being honest he totally does not fit in the story telling. But about any other cacharcter that there is i love them. All of them. When it comes to combat i have a mixed feeling. I love the fact that it takes so much inspiration from Darkest Dungeon but i hate that its made with so cheep options. Like whats the poing that my skill passes through the enemy dodge when i mark them when enemies never gain a dodge tokens. Second thing is that beacuse there is so little combat as in reallity there is only 1 fight that is not scriped and its infinite its hard to enjoy the combat mechanic. Second thing is that healing is so limited you basically have to restart the whole fight when you get a crit beacuse the 50/50 dodge wasnt enough. Third thing is that even tho i love that every character is different it allso makes your options limited as Nick allways have to use flashbang since riposte is SO OVERPOWERED. And i can barely heal with him not like the 2hp he gives makes much difference. Captain could have some kind of healling command and that would be great. Overall tho the combat is kinda left to fend for himself the game itself is really good. Tho at a bit high price for my taste. I mean i didnt 100% it but i ended it in 5h with 52% achivements and repeating over and over skiping the same dialogues just isnt fun for me so i guess i'll comeback to 100% some time late. When the new chapter comes i'm sure i will play it but i hope that combat wont be so much forgotten.
I love this game, even if it is sometimes a little bit repetitive. It's fun trying new stuff and get new story arcs. It drew me in, the dark atmosphere and the chaos mesmericing. I also enjoy the artwork, but not as much as the SxullX NFTs of course ;)
Spec ops the line meets Silent Hill. I'm not a fan of visual novel type of games but this game caught my attention with its theme and mistery. Take command of a private black ops team and enter a world where steel and nerve need relic and ritual to overcome forces of terrifying darkness. Will you trust others in this endeavor? Or can you only trust yourself? Lock and load then off you go, Commander.
Nice and intriguing.
Game was really good, though I was flailing around trying to understand the conditions for a little while before I was able to get a grasp of the combat. Im excited to see Chapter 2
Great game and i having a lot of fun with it so far, but theres 2 things that are bothering me. First is that i cant use a controller for it. For some reason whenever i try, it fights my mouse and infinitely tries clicking and moving to the right. I can play with K and M but i prefer controller, but thats probably an easy fix. Second, is the combat is a little too erratic and punishing. The medic heals for 2 hp, while youre getting hit for around 9 or so on average. Its just not worth it except to cleanse debuffs, but even then id rather try to kill the person doing it. And another thing is nothing is reliable. I did the same fight multiple times trying to get through it for another outcome, and the attack order was different every time. Sometimes id go first, sometimes they would, sometimes someone would be first in the order, other times theyd be last. Very frustrating since i cant plan around it. I see the speed stat, but i dont understand how it ties to order if everything goes randomly. But i do love the game and highly recommend it. These are things that can be easily fixed or overcomed
