Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 24 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Not Recommended. The developer makes good games, but this one just has too many technical flaws and lack of polish to recommend it as good. First one is the game is unnecessarily dark, had to use a ReShade plugin to adjust gamma to my monitor level, which finally made the game playable and what let me finish it. Second is the lack of identity, what is this supposed to be? a metroidvania? 2d soulslike? a slightly harder Kojivania? whatever it tried, it seems dev picked the worst parts, flaws of each genre and pieced together to make this. It's better to stop here or this won't end. It's just too many things that just complements the general feeling of annoyance with the game. Story at least on this one didn't disapoint, really liked it, and the vein in which it links perfectly with the one from the first game, which was a thousand times better than this one btw. Specially the eldricht lore pieces and references, really liked seeing the kid Howard P. L. here. No idea if dev will polish it further in the future like first game, i'm probably not coming back to check. But best of sucess with Console Releases. This indie developer deserves it. In hype for this game, i've bought his prequel Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity. I loved that one, but this was just a disapointment. As an enjoyer of Soulslikes and Metroidvanias, i tought i would love this game, but i coudn't. In the metroidvania part, the exploration feels kinda bland and unfun. Even if you have various things to collect, they don't deserve your time. And this all returns to the Castlevania: Circle of the Moon problem: too much verticality. The map has really some beautiful places and some good atmosphere, but has a very boring navigation that makes this experience very tedious. In the soulslike part, the game (in first run, at least) isn't challenging at all, just kinda messy in some ways since there is no quality of life and fast travel. It has one difficult spike in the last two bosses (witch i had some fun fighting), but the rest of the game feels more like a breeze in a uninteresting progression. The good parts are away from the gameplay in general, being the atmosphere and the story (witch is very entertaining). Lore is the great part of this franchise. I don't think this is a game you would want buy as a solo game, even as an metroidvania or soulslike fan. It has good ideias and intentions, but failed in the execution. I think you should only play this if you want to play the entire franchise, because the time you would spent here can be used in other games of the genre (or at least play Shrouded in Sanity, my boy here is way less ambitious than this, but has a good execution) and you can have a fun that don't feels like trying to get blood out of a stone.

A história do game é boa tbm. Só jogue esse jogo se vc curtir jogos souls, se não pode passar bem longe dele.
The game is too buggy to recommend. Too many times I've gotten stuck on the map and been forced to quit to menu, since the game only has manual saving at set locations, this is guaranteed to result in lost progress. I got stuck twice on a screen transition on the way to the third boss and twice when when dialogue actives during the teleport animation (This is most likely to catch you out when a boss fight ends or moves to the next phase aka when it occuring would annoy you the most) The vitae system makes the game grindy and the movement system makes the early game feel too slow (Once you beat the fourth boss your mobility dramatically improves but that system is also glitchy and some secret areas took minutest to get out of because it wouldn't register that I'd lined it up correctly). I do on the whole, like this game, but with these issues it is only worth it at its discounted price.
Q jogo ruin, personagem anda muito travado, não gostei desse jogo e olha q eu amo jogos metroidvanias

Um dos melhores metroidvanias q já joguei, a série Skautfold inteira é excelente e merece mais atenção.
Solid for $10, scratched the itch
"Skautfold: Usurper" is a pixelated metroidvania with slight RPG-elements and the second installment in the lovecraftian series by the (almost?) single dev Steve Gal. It is somewhat in the vein of the classic "Symphony of the Night" (much more so in the quite slow walking speed of the MC, which can be toggled off) and has an interesting Stamina/Health mechanic that - once you get the hang of it - makes encounters and the overall game much more forgiving (apart from some tight boss fights and challenge runs). There can be some problems in launching the game due to the engine (couldn't play it on my laptop, which is a common problem and a shame), the game is overall quite dark (literally) in most areas, the map is quite elusive, which can be a letdown for some, and there are some aspects that feel somewhat unpolished. Nevertheless - the atmosphere is dense, the writing and worldbuilding is very unique and well done, the weapon diversity is quite anime in their presentation, but cool and I really liked the final encounter (played it on No Death Run, where you could not save scum through the phases). The story can be convoluted and cryptic at times (it makes a little more sense when you play through the whole series), but it stands out as a creative and uncompromising title in the overabundance of media toggling the genre and the lore!
https://youtu.be/W9YheqgkjU8 Heavily wrought systems with heavy forced lore and world building struggles to hook players due to upfront complexity.
