Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

Fun to skate around in, but it feels like it could have been so much more. Skate is one of those games where you really have to wonder why it’s still in Early Access, especially considering how long ago Skate 3 came out. At the end of the day, it’s a skateboarding game, and while it does nail the basic feeling of just sitting back, throwing on some music, and skating around, I can’t help but feel like this game could have been so much more. The actual skating is fun, and that’s probably the biggest positive I can give it. Just cruising around the map, finding spots, and messing around with tricks is genuinely enjoyable. They absolutely nailed that part. However, there are also a lot of things that make the game feel like it went in a completely different direction than where it should have. First off, get rid of the annoying AI voice. That was honestly one of the first things I turned off, and I’d recommend everyone else do the same. This is a game that has had plenty of time to be polished and built into something special. It could have had an incredible map, tons of memorable locations, and all kinds of little details that made the world feel alive and worth exploring. Instead, I feel like the developers went in the complete opposite direction of what made the previous Skate games so great. Luckily, the game is free, so I can’t exactly say I don’t recommend it. At the end of the day, it costs nothing to try, and there is definitely fun to be had if you just want to relax and skate around for a while. It’s just unfortunate because this game had the potential to be so much more and, in my opinion, falls short in way too many categories. Fun for what it is, but it feels like a missed opportunity considering the potential this game had.
