As a work of art, fantastic. As a game, kinda? Music, SFX and visual choices are some of the best I've ever seen, game has a fantastic atmosphere. Story wise, surreal kinda uni philosophy student musings, it's serviceable. Where the game really struggles is with variety, there's a good amount of trick variety for sure, but the tasks you're made to are 80% of the time just dressed up fetch quests and it becomes tedious and not at all compelling, many sections drag on too feeling like a walking simulator that you just happen to be standing on a skateboard for. It's also much too easy, you can pretty much just spam a combo of buttons combining manuals into tricks back into manuals then stomp, if you're familiar with Skate or other similar games this will be a breeze. Grinding ledges feels awkward and as a result I mainly avoided grinding unless asked to do one. Also the game stutters when the character walks up stairs and feels really awkward too, very odd and jarring. I can't in good conscience give it a thumbs down because there's a lot of artistic integrity in it, just a bit disappointed it's not better. I think the dev would probably admit themselves that they're a better artist than game designer, I hope with their next project they get help with that side of things because this game looks and sounds absolutely beautiful and deserves a better foundation.

Great visuals and soundtrack by Blood Cultures (a lot of remixed tracks of theirs), and when the game lets you skate, it's pretty fun. However, I wish I could give mixed reviews on Steam. "When it lets you skate" is the operative phrase here. Unfortunately, I got really bored playing this two or three hours in. The game is great fun when it's flowing and fast and moving, but they're really short lived. The game continuously stops for little hub worlds with nothing to do but repetitive fetch quests, or stops for cutscenes of obtuse poetry. I just want to skate. That's the biggest flaw of the game: it constantly kills its own momentum. With unsubstantial material, too. There's a loose story in this but that's not what I was initially interested in this game for. I just want to skate.
This rocked. The aesthetic is the draw, but the skating feels good and is surprisingly grounded in realism. Extensive and mesmerizing soundtrack really sells the immaculate vibes. Got wrapped up in the dreamlike plot by the end. Gathering collectables and doing tricks for their own sake in the distorted memory of a THPS open world level was something I needed.

A visual, musical, and ludic delight. Noodle from the Gorillaz recommended the OST on bandcamp, and it lead me to one of the most satisfying and fluid game experiences I've played in a while. Easy to pick up and a challenge to master, if you liked Tony Hawk or Skate then this is your game. Also, when you quit out of the program, it says goodbye to you, which I appreciate.
