you know the university in skate 3 with the megapark and the massive downhill this is like that but the entire game

I love this game so much, I successfully bullied 4 of my friends into buying it. 10/10, would kick-flip again!

I wanted to like this game; seems like it could be a lot of time - at times it was - and, I like supporting indie work; however, the unreliability of some of the mechanics was a deal breaker, for me personally. The biggest one being landing: there's a lot of big air in this game, which is fun, but landing is not so fun - for no reason I could find, I'll wipe out upon making contact with the ground. So I rewind and try again. Crash. Again. Crash. What? Why? My board is level and all four wheels are touching down at the same time. Crash. Rewind. Crash. This will happen over and over, until finally, for whatever reason, the game decides to let me free of this loop and my landing sticks. I've found no common ingredient for those good landings vs the ones that wipe. And unfortunately, this pretty well disrupts the flow and fun of the game for me :\ I didn't see any other reviewers saying this though, so factor that in. Maybe it's just me. Again, when I wasn't coming down from big air, this game was different and fun. And I think made by a single humie, which is impressive and cool.
