Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It's not really a positive review. I mean, It's fun to fly in VR, yeah - that's why I'm giving it a thumbs up. But poor compatibility with main game and its models makes it also rather frustrating sometimes. When you load your favourite craft you spent many hours making and flying in SP, and it simply explodes on startup in VR, it's not that fun anymore. Oh and not being able to load a model stratight from the drive is a bummer too.
the game is amazing and all but it just feels empty and blank.

Good game, fun and immersive, but if you want a VR Flying game for dog fights, get Vtol VR
SimplePlanes VR turns the joy of experimental aviation into a much more personal experience by placing you directly inside the cockpit. Developed and published by Jundroo, LLC, this standalone virtual reality title focuses less on building aircraft and more on experiencing them from the pilot's seat. It strikes an appealing balance between an accessible flying sandbox and a physics-driven simulator, making it suitable for players who enjoy aviation without necessarily wanting the complexity of a hardcore professional flight simulator. The VR cockpit experience is easily its strongest feature. Using motion controllers to interact with controls makes even basic actions such as adjusting the throttle, steering an aircraft, or looking around during a landing feel more engaging. Being physically surrounded by cockpit instruments creates a sense of scale that a traditional monitor cannot fully reproduce. Flying close to terrain, approaching an aircraft carrier, or watching another plane pass nearby becomes noticeably more exciting when viewed naturally through a headset. Variety is another major advantage. Players can access a massive collection of community-created aircraft and vehicles originating from the wider SimplePlanes ecosystem. Conventional propeller planes and jets are only the beginning. The selection can include military aircraft, helicopters, unusual experimental designs, spacecraft, ground vehicles, and machines that barely resemble traditional aircraft at all. This abundance gives the game considerable replay value because changing vehicles can completely alter the way a flight feels. Not every community creation provides the same quality of VR experience, however. Some aircraft feature cockpits that translate naturally to motion-controller interaction, while others were originally designed around conventional controls and can feel awkward when used in virtual reality. Highly complicated creations may also place greater demands on hardware. The huge community library is therefore one of the game's greatest strengths, but players should expect some inconsistency when experimenting with different downloads. The physics system adds substance beneath the accessible presentation. Aircraft behavior is influenced by factors such as weight, thrust, lift, and drag, giving different machines distinct characteristics rather than making everything feel interchangeable. Damage can also affect individual components. A collision or excessive stress may tear pieces from an aircraft without necessarily ending the flight immediately. Trying to keep a damaged machine airborne long enough to perform an emergency landing can produce memorable moments that feel naturally generated rather than scripted. There are structured activities for players who want objectives beyond free flight. Challenges involving racing, carrier landings, missile avoidance, bomber protection, and other aviation scenarios provide opportunities to practice different skills. These missions prevent the experience from becoming entirely dependent on self-directed sandbox play. Free flight remains an important part of the package, though, especially when the goal is simply to test an unfamiliar aircraft or enjoy flying without worrying about completing an objective. The biggest compromise is the absence of the original SimplePlanes aircraft-building system in this standalone VR release. You can enjoy an enormous selection of existing creations, but you cannot construct and modify aircraft directly in the same way as in the main game. Players attracted primarily to engineering and designing their own machines may therefore find this edition more limited than expected. Its focus is clearly on piloting and experiencing aircraft rather than creating them. Visually, the presentation is functional rather than photorealistic. Environments and aircraft generally favor clean shapes and readable details over the visual complexity found in high-end flight simulators. This actually works reasonably well for the game's sandbox identity and helps keep attention on flying, physics, and interaction. The simpler presentation also makes sense for VR, where stable performance and responsive head tracking can be more important to comfort than extremely detailed scenery. Steam Deck compatibility is effectively not applicable for normal handheld play because SimplePlanes VR requires virtual reality hardware. The Steam Deck does not provide the native VR setup needed to experience the game as intended, and it should not be considered a practical Steam Deck title. Anyone specifically purchasing games for portable Deck gaming should look toward the standard SimplePlanes experience rather than expecting this VR-focused release to function like an ordinary handheld game. SimplePlanes VR succeeds because it understands that the sensation of occupying a cockpit can be as entertaining as mastering an extremely complicated simulation. Its combination of interactive VR controls, physics-based flying, damage modeling, challenges, free exploration, and a vast supply of community aircraft provides plenty of room for experimentation. The lack of an integrated aircraft builder and inconsistent VR suitability among downloaded creations prevent it from feeling completely comprehensive, but players primarily interested in climbing into unusual machines and discovering how they handle can find hours of entertainment here. Buttons don't work. It's too difficult to find where my hand goes in order to be able to press the button, but it's never the same spot twice.
