About
Simon Ordell is called back to the island of St. Amelia to ‘put things right’, encountering a town lying quiet beneath a heavy fog, seemingly abandoned but not at rest.
Venturing deeper, and driven to understand his connection to the place and its inhabitants, Simon begins to discover fragments of a past rising to the surface.
Experienced entirely in first person, Simon must explore, evade, and survive using a limited set of weapons and tools, including the CRTV, a pocket television used to tune into unstable signals. Evasion is tense; combat is frenetic, while narrative driven puzzles reveal a truth that refuses to stay submerged.
SILENT HILL: Townfall is a full-length, self-contained psychological horror set against the cold, isolated backdrop of Scotland, 1996.
Fog-soaked streets, abandoned communities, and forgotten corners tell their story through atmosphere and history. Reality and delusion subtly intertwine to lure players into the depths of the grounded, tangible world of St. Amelia.
SILENT HILL: Townfall exudes the beautiful and foggy streets of Scotland, offering a new setting to tell a unique and haunting story. More than just a horror game, this is a tale of introspection, loss, and consequence. Fear grows from small details, quiet moments, and the long shadow of Simon's past.
Swing and block with melee weapons in frenetic melee combat, or keep your distance and use firearms to survive.
Choose how to engage in each encounter, using both the tools at your disposal and the environment around you.
Beyond fighting or fleeing, carefully sneak past danger through stealth, tracking enemy positions from cover or luring them away with distractions.
The iconic SILENT HILL radio makes a comeback as the CRTV, a portable television device.
Threats lurking nearby, story fragments, & mysterious clues drift through unstable analog signals, which players can pick up by tuning the CRTV.
Through narrative-driven puzzles closely tied to these fragments, players can relive past events and catch glimpses of everyday life in town, remaining constantly aware of the story.
The first full-length SILENT HILL game to be presented in first-person perspective, players experience the fog-shrouded town directly through the eyes of Simon.
With limited visibility and a heightened sense of proximity to danger, stealth, combat, exploration and the CRTV feel intimate, close and terrifying.
Endings shaped by the player’s actions leave a lasting emotional impression long after the story comes to an end.
Every creak, signal, and cry pulls the danger closer, with creative audio design building a rich and terrifying soundscape.
A fully dynamic soundtrack by Pilotpriest builds and twists with player and enemy actions, reacting and building tension and release with the ebb and flow of action and stealth.
Sums Steam only; PlayStation, Epic publish no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

It has occasionally stutters from time to time but overall performance is fine The game itself is great so far. Must buy for any horror fan
i rarely leave negative reviews but the stuttering is unbearable right now. i'll update the review once it's patched. game looks gorgeous otherwise

A surprisingly immersive and audiovisually impressive entry, with an intriguing mystery at its core and all the hallmarks of classic Silent Hill! Stories will be untold...
Coming up to about an hour into the game and I am astonished at how surreal the atmosphere of the game is. I am a English person who has visited Scotland a couple of times and can say that every little detail is spot on. The signs, posters, stalls, doors and houses, cars, bins, everything just gives me a comfort of a a game set in the UK. I can see a few inspirations from the game in the prologue; before the title credits start rolling. The 2 inspirations I see is: War of the Worlds feat. Tom Cruise and I guess the series as well but I'm more on about the film and Stranger Things. I cannot say why without spoiling the start of the game for people who have not already started playing but if anyone has watched those films and series would understand the visual and audio connections I feel between this game and those inspirations from them. Once again Konami have done a beautiful job making the game so eery and thriller like after iv played Silent hill 2, Silent hill f and silent hill Homecoming (when it decides to work). I pre ordered the game and can honestly say it was not only worth the money but definitely worth the wait. 10/10 cant wait to see the ending.
Honestly, I’m pretty shocked at how good this has been so far. I’ve had zero crashes, zero stuttering and I’m running everything on max settings. Was honestly expecting to run into some sort of performance issue, but nope, it’s been ridiculously smooth for me. The story so far is actually really good too. It feels fresh, which is probably what surprised me the most. I’m a massive Silent Hill fan, but I honestly didn’t enjoy Silent Hill f that much. This, on the other hand, actually feels like a proper mainline Silent Hill game while still doing something different with the first person perspective. I’m only a few hours in, so obviously I can’t judge the whole game yet, but so far I’m seriously impressed. Good story, creepy as hell, runs perfectly and actually feels fresh. Very surprised by this one. Hopefully it keeps going like this because I’m loving it so far.
I am really enjoying Townfall so far. I'll start with the 1 negative, The game froze and crashed twice at the beginning however after verifying game files, updating graphics drivers and disabling any overlays I don't seem to be getting any further issue. Thought I'd put what worked for me here as others have mentioned the same thing. I suppose this is to be expected with early release. Hopefully this will be fixed with the day 1 patch. The positives far outweigh this so far though, the games natural creepy atmosphere/ ambience are fantastic as I'd expect from any silent hill game however my favourite thing by far is how you have to handle the enemies. In Townfall it requires a little more thought and strategy instead of the repetitive hack n slash style that was Silent Hill f. This combined with the new first person view make encounters way scarier. Weapons and heals appear to be scarce also, so hiding, learning the enemies movements with the crtv and then choosing to fight or evade them are a big part of Townfall's core mechanic (which I am loving btw). The story is interesting so far and i am anxious for the rest. Very good work so far well worth getting early!
冒頭からオープニングシーンまでプレイしましたがこれはかなりの傑作の予感がします。 一気に世界観に引き込まれました。今回の一人称視点の採用は大正解です。 まさしくサイレントヒル、恐れ入った。
Bottle up this atmosphere and inject it STRAIGHT INTO MY VEINS!
