Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1301.57/day in the week to Jul 25 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

In this new instalment of the Civilization franchise, Earth is lost after “the Great Mistake” and humanity had to colonize space and settle other planets in order to survive. That is the premise of Beyond Earth, a 4X – Strategy game that takes much of its gameplay from Civilization V and changes just enough to feel like a new and fresh experience. Instead of choosing one of several past civilizations, Beyond Earth presents several invented sponsors - a mix of countries and cultures - able to fund expeditions to one of several different planets. Each sponsor has a customizable personality that alters the diplomatic deals an expedition can have. Several other skills can also be selected at the start of a game, making each one potentially different. While previous technology trees had been rather linear, the one presented in Beyond Earth is like a web, and allows advancements in different areas, favouring military might, productivity, health or a series of other factors vital to the game. While expanding on the alien planet, several quests can be activated and pursued, and most quests come with a larger narrative and give each play-through its own personality. On top of that, there are again several victory conditions, which range from conquering old earth, to allowing humans on the new planet, to becoming one with the local ecosystem. These different affinities also change the way military units behave and look, and can influence many choices and ultimate goals. While no gameplay takes really place in space, aliens are also part of the game, though they act a bit like evolved barbarians; they are mostly neutral, but have a swarm-intelligence controlled behaviour, and attacking one unit can infuriate the whole species; ignoring them can also be tough, so no clear optimal strategy exists. The UI of the game is very dark and a bit confusing, but the visuals look good, better than Civilization V’s in most areas. The alien planets look interesting and diverse enough to favour repeat play-throughs. New resources and unique locations add to the feel of being on a distant world. The music is also excellent and draws into the alien landscapes. In the expansion, Rising Tide, new sponsors, new planet biomes and new technologies are added. Additionally, it is now also possible to build cities on water and move them on the oceans like huge boats that expand their territory by moving around instead of gaining culture. Also, artifacts can now be collected to gain resources and early access to advanced technologies. Like Civilization V before it, this new game in the series has a high addition factor, and might have been an even better game, if it had tried to differentiate itself from its prequel a bit more, both in tone and scope. Still, Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth is a great game, that reaches higher highs thanks to its expansion Rising Tide, and that can be a lot of fun any day.
pas mal !!!
best lore
Civilization + fantascienza = un mix spettacolare (se si amano le due cose, chiaramente :D )
Addictive as every Civ gam
Fun game within the Civ V engine. Is it the greatest chapter in the history of Civilization games? No. But it is a fun and unique take on them. If you are a fan of the Civilization series and of 4X games, Civ :BE is worth a try.
Verrassend kan dit spel aansluiten op het vervolg van Civilization VI en VII
