Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.71/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.

Reviews
I don't know what the Valve is doing, but this game constantly crashing the last months and it's impossible to play.
Was hoping this was good because I love civ 5 and I like sci-fi more than a historical setting. Don't play this game

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 8: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1301.57/day in the week to Jul 25 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

If you liked Civ 5 and want a kind-of sequel, this is for you. Beyond Earth definitely lacks personality — the leaders are bland, the factions feel generic, and the menus and visuals are pretty sterile. It doesn’t have the charm or depth of something like Alpha Centauri, and even compared to Civ 5, it can feel a little soulless. That said, it’s still fun and something different. I picked it up on sale and felt it was worth the price. I love 4X games, so I’m probably biased, but I enjoyed my time with it. If you’re a fan of Civ and want to try a sci-fi spin on the formula, give it a shot — especially if you can grab it cheap or with the Rising Tide expansion.
норм, лучше чем 7
Solid game with good looking graphics. Steep learning curve but better AI opponents than Civ VI or VII
🛰️ Strona technologiczna jest ciekawa, jednostki orbitalne to fajny dodatek, a powolne przekształcanie nieznanej planety w swoją wersję cywilizacji przyszłości daje ogromną satysfakcję. To wciąż energia „jeszcze jednej tury”. 👩🚀 Czy to najlepsza Civ w historii? Prawdopodobnie nie. Ale czy to chłodna, niedoceniona Civ science fiction, w którą łatwo wciągnąć się na dziesiątki godzin? Zdecydowanie. 🚀 Jeśli lubisz Cywilizację i chcesz czegoś innego, ale nie chcesz poznawać zupełnie nowego gatunku, warto spróbować Beyond Earth.
At least it's better than Civ 7.
Got stuck playing 5 hours in a row. It's a good civ game. Nothing special compared to the main franchise. Simple mechanics, easy to learn. Lacks a tutorial but you get to learn it quite quickly. It's a 6/10, worth buying if very cheap to spend some nice hours on it.
its an interesting take on civilization, not quite the intersteller map like the final frontier mod of civ iv beyond the sword i was hoping for but still fun non the less
