This game is Kriller! Its a 3rd person bullet hell 3Dspace-shooter as a shrimp. Several zones to explore with a hub area, fun story, good weapon variety, and lots of things to find/ side-quests. There are a variety of starting shrimp and an RPG system where you can level up your shrimp and build your arsenal of 3 weapons by finding them off of enemies you take out. There are different element synergies, all of which makes you want to experiment with all the different builds you can come up with. It has co-op, PvP, and the dev just mentioned a "hardcore campaign mode". Well worth the skrilla
IT'S FINALLY OUT! I've been playtesting this game for over 3 years at this point, and it has easily become one of my favourite games. I can't recommend it enough. The PvP is awesome. The campaign is crazy good, with roguelite elements. I won't spoil the surprise at the end of the game, but you're building towards a pretty cool moment with each new shrimp build. Oh, and the co-op is implemented super well, you can play through the entire campaign with a whole team of buddies. Shrimply fantastic. If this isn't the game of the year, I don't know what is.

Weapons and abilities don't carry over into the next stage, only the stats for your selected shrimp do. Progression feels like its not there because of this. The weapon variety for pickup weapons feels lacking since all of them seem to be bullet weapons. Good additions could have been beams, pulse lasers, grenade launchers, etc. Cool looking game though. 6 shrimps out of 10, could use some extra melted butter.
WOW, this games a trip. Love everything except not being able to really tell if a weapon drop is better than the one your using, you kind of have to scramble to grab it under fire and then test it out yourself. Soo many different colors of rarity, It looks like the sparkle gold ones are the best but even then you have to choose from 3, and you can only hold 3 at a time, so that kinda a pain in the ass. Different characters with different base stats, you choose what element to use. Another confusing thing is, there seems to be a main back waters world, that has enemies and your over world hub where you get missions, but its like open world and you can explore anywhere. You find different POI and open levels to go into. Feels kinda strange because you pick what shrimp character you want to be for either or. Each level has a boss, but I think the backwaters overwolrd does too somtimes for some reason, like to open certain levels you have to beat them, or the just show up and try kick your ass in a specific area your trying to get to. ITS ALL WHIMSICLE AND I F0CKING LOVE IT. THE MUSIC, JAZZY CLUB HOUSE. Kinda like, star fox, underwater, without, the barrel rolls.
really fun game, its like kirbys air ride, meets risk of rain, but also like an arena shooter? i really like it :D
Gonna have to say not recommended despite the cool gameplay over everything else because of the dark stone/ abyssal caverns level. Very bad game design to have infinite respawning enemies in a non-linear series of looping tunnels that all look the same. I literally can't tell where I've already been and there's fixed objectives that you can't tell you've finished unless you're right on top of them.
Shrimply goated
Combat feels stagnant and boring. Rogue Like elements without any of the pay off, as you reset character per stage. Maybe when more classes and upgrades come out it will be more fun. As it stands I do not recommend.
One in a krillion!
statistically speaking shrimp are in-fact the most likely animal to master the elements and reincarnate into higher beings
