submarine knight is genuinely an awful person
Shovel Knight is my favorite video game. Shovel of Hope might be the very best 2D platformer that money can buy, and the other three stories are all lots of fun too.
Never has there ever been a better game about shovels, and there never will be. 11/10 Game. All 4 stories are incredible. 👏

Recomendadicimo.
excellent game, I admire the dedication to replicating the old platformer era to the point of also being a little frustrating, really really amazing music as well, jake kaufman is a compositional legend
Played this during my summer break and had a really good time, although there were definitely a few moments where I was one death away from throwing my controller across the room. Some hitboxes feel a bit questionable and a couple of jumps require what feels like pixel-perfect precision. Sometimes you die and just go "yeah... sure." That said, it's still a really good game. My biggest complaint is the relic system. Cycling through every single item with R1/L1 is just not fun. When you're trying to react quickly to spikes or pull out a ranged attack, having to scroll through your entire inventory feels clunky. For a game that's otherwise so tight, this honestly feels like a rookie design mistake. The other thing I wasn't a fan of was the boss rush before the final fight. Before anyone says it, yes, I know Shovel Knight came out long before Gravity Circuit. I'm only talking about my own experience because I happened to play Gravity Circuit about a month ago and it ends the exact same way. So when I got to the end here I was just thinking, "Oh... we're doing this again." I was hoping for something a little more original, especially after seeing so many people hype this game up like it was the second coming of 2D platformers. The game is also pretty short, around 7 hours for the base campaign, but honestly that's perfectly fine. It never drags and I actually appreciate games that know when to end. Overall I had a lot of fun. I'd definitely recommend Shovel Knight, but I also wouldn't put it on the untouchable pedestal some people do. It's just a really solid action platformer with a ton of charm, fantastic music, and satisfying gameplay. Sometimes that's enough.
Oyun harika ve çeşitli. Ancak diğer karakterlere geçiş yaptığımızda hep aynı şeyleri yapıyoruz...
