Reviews
Spectre Of Torment.

this game is awesome! The platforming is amazing, the boss fights are good, the game manages to be both hard and easy at the same time! The music is so good, the sprites are phenomenal, i have played for 100 hours and still haven't fully beaten all the new game+, great experience
The four main campaigns you get with Treasure Trove are genuinely such a joy to play. I've been playing these games since the original's launch (though most of my playtime's on other platforms...) and can attest to the quality of the four main campaigns. For $10 per campaign this game is worth it and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a level-based 2D platformer.
it is one of the best games from the indie game boom. if it is on sale then buy it. if not then still buy it. it is 4 whole games for the price of less then 1 AAA game. value you can't beat
Not much to say, this games perfect.
Absolutely wonderful game with brilliantly written story and retro styling with a range of abilities. 10/10 Would recommend for people that like platformers.
A collection of the main game, plus multiple DLC, plus a brawler. - Shovel Knight: The main game, it's a wonderful game with great music, graphics and gameplay. A tribute to 8/16-bit platformers. - Plague of Shadows: It's the same game, but with a different character. He uses bombs instead of a shovel, and has to use bombjumps to get around the levels. The levels are mostly the same. Because the character is a lot harder to control, this wasn't much fun. I didn't finish it. - Specter of Torment: You play as another character, who can home in on enemies and grind on rails like it's Sonic Adventure. The levels are different, and it's a short and fun campaign. - King of Cards: They wanted to go out with a bang, and created a campaign that's longer than the original, and added an (optional) card game. I didn't care for the card game, so I was glad to learn you can just ignore that and focus on the regular levels and bosses. Another really fun campaign. - Showdown: A brawler like Smash Brothers. I don't care for these king of games, so I didn't play it.
