I'm only making this review because some of the others are just weird personal gripes and stuff like "game should have checkpoints mid boss" This is not a hard game. Its enjoyable and the humor is subjective, as all humor is. Support artists who care about making games.

Really loved the game! gave me a few laughs and the art is really cool, full of charm and that kinda 2000s rebellious aesthetic. Really loved all the characters, even the ones I felt meh at the beginning really grew on me The shooting part wasnt really good, it felt disorienting, keeping track of enemies and gauging distances and when to dodge attacks is really hard, luckily the encounters are really easy so it isnt a big deal Also even tho I liked the muted sound the weapons make having them be more punchy I think would feel better, I feel would fit better with the colorfull art style

This comforted me the same way Undertale did back 10 years ago when I played it for the first time. Do yourself a favor and play this stupid ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game and don't you dare wipe that smile off your face. My only complain is that level 6 was a bit too short and could have been a little more developed... I hope you come back one day Bubby Darkstar, thank you for Shooty Shooty Robot Invasion.
