About

I’ve always loved ships and boats, tall ships, steamers, pre-dreadnought french monstrosities, I love em all.
ShipShaper is a explorative ship builder I made for the simple pleasure of shaping boats and ships. You pull, push, and drag forms into place, creating everything from humble fishing vessels to tall ships, ironclads, and early dreadnoughts.
You can create historical ships, fantasy ships, steampunk you name it.
It's a boat designer married to experimental interfaces that are intended to take away the tedium from designing boats. No 3D skills required, no endless stacks of cubes, just some organic shaping and attaching props and functional items to create whatever ship you want.
When you’re done, you can place your ships into a world and sail them, the game does a proper analysis of your creation, its propulsion, hull shape and weight, all in order so you can properly enjoy and test your creation.
ShipShaper is about creating a foundational technology that will power my own future games, connect my franchise but also empower other creators to have fun with ships and have a usable output, game-ready and usable.
Features:
Free-form building
Responsive shaping
Expanding library of details and props

Such a great game dude
Fun little creative tool for creating ships. I was expecting to be able to sail around and fight with my creation but that is not in this game. However you can export your creations into the main Bulwark Falconeer building game and then sail it around and fight with them in there, which is an awesome feature. Excellent way to spend some time making realistic or fantastical steampunk ships, would recommend especially if you're a naval nerd! Check out the weekly competition submissions!

I am very glad I am not in charge of designing boats, I am already creating horrors to terrify my players in the next DnD Campaign. 10/10
Really easy to follow and have fun! Using it to make STLs for D&D and it's been fun! Only drawback is I wish I could hit a button to open a menu of build options rather than just using a mouse wheel for all of them.
Amazing Dev who continually makes unique games. This newest one lets you create unique ships which you can then import into Bulwark, and likely future games by this dev. 100% reccomend!
Ever build model ships? Want to put them in a cozy city builder or export them for 3D printing? Get this, export your creations, replace ships, 3D print them. Marvelous.
It's fun
This is a wonderful construction kit! A great alternative to buying a ship construction kit. It's a great graphic tool for inspiration and the ability to bring ideas to life. I'd love to be able to add nodes/curves along the Y axis in the bow and stern of the ship.
Many of us also love 'Boats', if you also love the Falconeer Chronicles, and want to add more boats to your game then this is for you. While it is in early access I have no hesitation buying this, Tomas's reputation for not only producing games but supporting them well past the release, should be seen as a absolute positive. This is also a pleasure to explore in a casual manner making models that can then also be 3D printed. If Tomas was not to do another thing to this project it would still be worth buying. I don't have many hours in this thus far as I deleted the demo once I purchased the EA, and I tend to see this also as a casual timeout.
I am A ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ architect
