Good
nice
Super
Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments
The heart of the game is investigative gameplay. You poke around crime scenes, dust for fingerprints, analyze weird clues, and try not to make Sherlock facepalm at your questionable logic. And the best part? You actually get to pass judgment — so if someone’s guilty and you let them go… uh, that’s on you. What works well: • Detective vibes: Feels like a proper Sherlock mystery — clever puzzles, shady suspects, and “Aha!” moments that make you feel like a genius. • Choices matter: You can play nice or be a ruthless judge of fate — your decisions actually affect the outcome, which is pretty dope. • Atmosphere: London looks foggy, grimy, and perfect for moody crime-solving. Hats off to the art team. • Voice acting: Watson and Holmes actually sound like they belong in the story, not some generic NPC voice you’ve heard a million times. Some negatives: • Puzzle inconsistency: Some clues make you feel like a genius, others make you feel like you need a PhD in “random nonsense.” • Clunky controls: Moving around and examining stuff can feel like Sherlock sprained his leg — slow and awkward. • Short-ish story: You’ll solve cases faster than you’d like, which is sad if you’re craving hours of detective life. • Occasional logic leaps: Some outcomes feel like the writers forgot the game was supposed to make sense. Overall: Crimes & Punishments is a solid detective romp for anyone who’s ever wanted to live inside a Sherlock story. It’s clever, moody, and fun, even if some puzzles make you curse the name of Moriarty and the controls occasionally fight back. Final verdict: A stylish, atmospheric detective game where your choices actually matter — fun, smart, and just tricky enough to make you feel like the world’s greatest detective (or the worst judge ever).
