Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Another Sherlock Holmes game that introduces you to a new character, Sherlock Holmes' childhood friend. The gameplay is similar to the other ones but adds shootouts with various criminals. The coolest thing is you can buy furniture/decor for your family home, however, you can't place it where you want it is predetermined. Pros: - New location - Shooting combat - Plot twist ending - Purchasable decorations for your family home - Has fast travel points Cons: - Is a pain unlocking the fast travel points - The main story isn't that interesting, side quests are more serious crimes
51 hours to play the main game and all of the DLC. The game has a great story and the graphics as well as the sound are quite good. It plays like the others in the series. My only complaint is that many of the cases depend on you finding every piece of evidence. If you miss one thing, you get stuck and it can be very hard to solve what you missed. The different points on the map are marked with a looking glass and color coded to tell you if you found the major clues there, all of them, or just some. That helps. Truth be told, I ended up viewing quite a few youtube videos and reading walkthroughs to get my past sticking points. Some of the mechanics of the game arent explained really well. It is a shame that the execution of the game was not done better, but even then it is a satisfying experience. If you do not mind using online guides to help every now and then, I recommend it. If you want to play it all on your own with no help, I think youre going to be frustrated. That is my advice. The ending of the story is good, and overall story telling was great IMO. Individual cases were great too and solving them is a challenge that feels rewarding. IMO, the game is NOT easy. There is a mini game in it where you have to fight thugs and try not to kill them. Its hard at first but midway through I mastered that and it became easy. There is a difficulty setting that helps with events like this. One last thing, the game does NOT play on ultrawide screens without the hideous black bars on the side. There is a great exe file that you can download from online that works very well. It also allows you to adjust the viewing area, zoom in and out. It is found here: search: RoseTheFlower/SherlockHolmesCOUltrawide
As with the two Frogware's Sherlock Holmes games before this one, there are some things to like and some to hate. As a Sherlock Holmes fan, I enjoyed my time with Chapter One. The story is decent, the graphics are fine and the open world is a nice attempt to give the game more scale. Solving cases is fine, although I think I enjoyed it more in the 2 previous games. The attempt at combat is horribly bad, but can be skipped. The open world is fine, though a bit empty and it doesn't add that much to the game. As with the previous sherlock holmes games, I rate it at about a 7/10. No technical glitches with this one ,as opposed to the previous one.
Yeah, perdonen, kamehameha. Después del tema del Tetris llega el Dragon Ball Rap
Not sure if this came before Sinking City or vice-versa, but it has a good investigative mechanic.
I really enjoyed this edition. This game was so much more involved than any other Sherlock game I've played in the past. Along with the main case, there are an abundance of other cases, adventures and a large map to explore. Devils Daughter took me around 20 hrs to complete. This edition took me 90 hrs, there is a lot to do. Only negative mention is that I found that its possible to get Sherlock physically stuck to where he can not move. (Ex. Caught in between people or between a tree and a stone wall) Only remedy is to restart the game, which is not a big deal. The game automatically saves on exit. Enjoy!
i'm not finished with the game yet, but playing so far was enjoyable. at first, this all feels like a bad drug trip. Jon (try to not confuse him with John, that John isn't there just yet), is a bloke who just appears at various checkpoints and comments on everything. you'll very soon know why and who he is, but still, i won't "spoil" the early game "mystery". problem is, he is always with us and he can be annoying. we also build a "friendship" with him. never kill enemies (more on that later), choose to act like he "wants", which is following his moral compass, not yours (the player's). i hate it when they do that in games. "follow an example and you will get muffins in the end". also Jon will not like when you fail at the minigames. he makes a note in his "diary", that Holmes is a dumbass. game has an enormous amount of content. the semi-open world is full of cases, most of them involving murder. cases are interesting to a point, they make you think. the dialogue is brilliant and voice actors are decent too. mini games. i suppose they are alright, although my least favourite is Eavesdropping. mostly because it's on timer. the great detective can spend hours profiling a suspect in a time freeze, but can't do the same when he needs to hear stuff. combat. yes, we have proper combat this time. there are bandit dens, some are case related, some are just, well, there. you enter a building and face small waves of enemies. the goal is to neutralise them by shooting off their their personal effects like hats, bottles of booze that they have strapped to their backs (what?), ammunition belts. or by using the environment, shooting off stuff like flour bags, lanterns etc. when the enemy is close to it. after the shooting part - we make an "arrest" by approaching them point-blank and knocking them out in a quick QTE game. but, you could also kill them, which will anger Jon and usually is something to avoid. problem is, headshots instantly kill enemies, which is a problem when you have to knock off a hat or face armour. oh, and the most annoying part? Jon is always telling us to use pepperdust (the thing that can be used to neutralise enemies without shooting them, but takes time to replenish), and he will be constantly reminding to use it. overall, i enjoy the game so far. already on 18 hours mark and i barely progressed the main story. a lot of side content and 90% of it actually interesting.
Finished everything and i am so in love with this game
