Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 2.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
I loved this game sooo much!! The story was really fun, plus the investigation aspects and world exploring was really cool too! It's super cool to see how different and the growth in this game compared to some of the last Sherlock games, because this one was just amazing!
Enjoyable plot and generally fun gameplay

I find the riddles very satisfying
Despite a few liberties this game takes with Sherlock's character, I'm actually enjoying it a lot. I strongly disagree with reviews saying the game proceeding regardless of who you accuse during cases is a bad mechanic, there IS a correct choice and it's usually hidden by the arbitrary quest markers and can be deducted through environmental details (as an example, A Gilded Cage's murder isn't "chosen by the player" like many keep suggesting, there is a canon murderer and it becomes obvious when you look at a fairly hidden detail), it's obvious the devs designed the game this way to not make it feel like those 90s point and click games with moon logic, it's very accessible even if you don't pay much attention to the clues. The combat is...something, it's WAY better than The Sinking City's since atleast they tried to do something unique but...yeah, it gets boring quickly. The open world looks gorgeous, but is mostly empty. The disguise system feels kind of pointless, in some cases it makes a lot of sense, but in others it feels tacked on with not much thought behind it. Some DLC cases are goodish but most are just pointless fetch quests that don't add much to the story (...this is frankly a problem with every single recent game made by Frogwares) I guess it deserves the mostly positive rating, it's not my favourite Frogwares game but I'd definitely recommend it on a sale, it's still a very enjoyable experience and the voice acting is great. EDIT: Gotta say, after finishing the game I've realized that the writing is seriously underrated, I'm not saying it's the best written game I've ever played (far from it), but damn is it good, I've already said the gameplay leaves a lot to be desired in some areas but the story grabbed me from start to finish.
