About
Shelves And Sorcery is a relaxing fantasy organization game about turning absolute chaos back into order.
Weapons, potions, spellbooks, fruits, vegetables, magical curiosities, and thousands of other items have been scattered throughout three fantasy shops. Pick everything up, find where it belongs, and slowly watch each shop return to the way it was meant to be.
Take your time and enjoy the satisfaction of putting everything in its place, or learn every corner of the shop and race against players around the world for the fastest time.
Choose from three shops of dramatically different sizes, each with its own setting, atmosphere, and challenge. Then return to them in four different modes, whether you want to relax, chase the fastest time, wield every bit of magic from the start, or organize without magic at all.
• Casual Mode – No timer and no pressure. Take your time, enjoy the atmosphere, and organize every shelf at your own pace.
• Timed Mode – Race against the clock and compete on the global leaderboards. Learn where every item belongs, master your Sorceries and Enchantments, perfect your route, and keep pushing for a faster time.
• Archmage Mode – Start with every Sorcery and Enchantment already unlocked. Take on the entire shop at full magical strength and see just how powerful an experienced shopkeeper can be.
• No Magic Mode – The magic of the world has escaped. No Sorceries. No Enchantments. No magical shortcuts. Just you, thousands of misplaced items, and the knowledge you've gained along the way.
1,000+ items to organize
A cozy shop tucked away in the quiet village of Burg. Once a welcoming stop for locals and passing adventurers, its shelves have fallen into disarray. With 1,048 items to restore, it's a comfortable introduction to the satisfying world of organizing.
3,000+ items to organize
A well-loved shop in the bustling market town of Stonebridge, built through years of honest work by its humble merchant. With 3,085 misplaced items, restoring The Merchant's Rest offers a much larger challenge with plenty of shelves waiting to be put right.
4,000+ items to organize
High above the clouds on the floating isle of Vane stands a legendary shop filled with magical treasures from across the world. With 4,066 items scattered throughout, The Grand Athenaeum is the largest challenge of them all. Take your time restoring it, or master every shelf and chase the fastest time.
Thankfully, you don't have to organize thousands of magical objects entirely by hand.
As you make progress, unlock Sorceries designed to help you tackle the mess.
Gather matching items from around the shop, reveal objects you've been struggling to find, or use magic to send items toward the shelves where they belong.
The more you organize, the more powerful your magical toolkit becomes.
Magic isn't limited to spells.
Unlock Enchantments that permanently improve your abilities and change how you move through each shop.
Carry more items at once. Increase your reach. Move faster. Jump higher. Eventually, even take to the air.
Combined with your Sorceries, these abilities can turn an experienced shopkeeper into an organizing force of nature and become an important part of chasing faster times.
Whether you're carefully organizing The Hearth & Barrel after a long day, working your way through the thousands of items inside The Merchant's Rest, or fighting for a place on the leaderboard in The Grand Athenaeum, Shelves And Sorcery is built around one simple satisfaction:
Finding where something belongs...
and finally putting it there.

What I like about this one is that it has a lot of whimsy with the theme and setting. I like the different levels, with adding more elements, though I think the potions were a bit overboard in the final room. It was nice to see that the potions weren't just carbon copies of each other and had their own whimsy and charm about them, so if you wanted to take on the completely masochistic task of a-z them or grouping them by potion type, it wasn't just copy+paste bottles in different colors. The turtles are my favorite. Huge huge plus that there's zero AI (which is what got me to pick up this take on the organizing genre).

How? How is this simple game so utterly addictive? It's gorgeous, and fun, and surprisingly engaging. I hope the dev decides to put out additional DLC because I'd absolutely pay extra for more stores to organize!
This is a fun- if not brutal!- sorting game. If you like this game, try Teddy's Haven, made by the same developer. Also a great game to play!
ive shied away from tidy up games. they just look too stressful. like the library game is just a monotone sea of books. they look boring. but this one really grabbed my attention. its bright and colorful. theres a wide variety of items (and some with hilarious names to keep it entertaining). theres a variety of challenge modes. but honestly it was relaxing. i doubt ill play another tidy up game. this one is good enough that even after doing all 3 maps on casual, its got me wanting to replay it. would def recommend to tidy up fans and even those who are unsure about it like i was.
there are a few minor bugs but there have already been patches so hopefully the rest are ironed out soon. really fun, relaxing, and repetitive! edit: the bug that bothered me the most is now fixed :)
good game, I enjoyed the variety of objects and level locations
Yes, more chapters of human defragmenting
This! Game!! If you love sorting and organizing and cleaning up and also fantasy, this is the game for you. It's beautiful, it's peaceful, and it's rich with delights (three different shops! Fabulous book series! A truly impressive collection of potions!!). Since the release, the dev has been actively taking feedback and turning it into little updates to improve the player experience (because they are fantastic). I particularly love playing this alongside Teddy's Haven as I get to spend more time in the lovely world, and as I play each game I can think about the other. I love playing this and look forward to
Absolutely looove this game! I've played several of these organization type of games, and this one is definitely my favorite. Also, if you haven't, check out Teddy's Haven, another great game by this developer! ♥
