Eets Munchies

大概是2006年的远古时期，我有幸游玩过《Eets: Hunger. It's emotional.》，现在来补票但发现有些改动。这个玩法放在当年可以说是独树一帜、非常好玩！功能强大的地图编辑器还能让朋友游玩自己精心设计的地图！ 老实说我还是更喜欢旧版的画风。新版似乎想要凸显“可爱”，但疑似有些用力过猛、反致主角以及一众交互道具失去了从前的简洁。关卡相较于旧版也修改出了最终目标（蛋糕/拼图）之外的三个收集品，略显冗杂。 总的来说新版我给7/10分，不如旧版的9/10分。但如果有朋友感兴趣，我推荐打折时入手体验。

I REALLY want to recommend this game, the puzzles were challenging and the character was cute. But that's my issue with the game-- it's got an art style that is way too cartoony, the premise is way too simple, but the puzzles (at least 1/5) require some second-precise inputs that don't appeal to the audience that the art jives with. If there were more unique levels (there's a pinball-style level that I LOVED), or if the art style was more fit for an older audience, I'd recommend this game. That being said, it is a quick 2-4 hour game to 100%, though I HAD to rely on guides for some of the levels with second-precise inputs. If you're looking for something that feels challenging when following a guide, then check this out. Otherwise, stay away unless its on sale cheap and you want to put your brain to the test.

Nice Puzzle Game. I bit shorter than Eets and is easier, but some mystery Levels were brutal.

I loved the Xbox 360 version, and bought the original on Steam... jeez, either when it came out or I first joined Steam. For whatever reason, though, I abandoned this on the first set of maps. Armed now with a Steam Deck, I figured this would be the perfect bedtime game. Alas, 'tis not. Unless I'm mistaken, some of the rotational puzzles simply aren't feasible. Maybe I'm too old and slow now, maybe there are some control layout changes to make, or maybe I'm approaching these puzzles incorrectly. I may revisit and revise in the future, but I'm moving on for now.
