I've quickly become obsessed with the concept of these tidying/organizing games, but it really saddens me just how many of them use generative AI, even if it's "only" for small things like concept art or titles of in-game objects. I was so excited to see this game's staunch anti-AI stance, and the gameplay does not disappoint. I highly recommend the demo if you're unsure if this game is for you. It runs you through the game's tutorial, which is adorable and intuitive, without any pesky HUD interruptions or overly explained mechanics. It's a perfect example of what is to come, which is...well...hours and hours of tidying. But it's not just shelving things wherever you think they might go. I really enjoyed that this game had small puzzles involved to make the mostly monotonous task of shelving bottles feel a little more like a mystery to be solved! Overall, I REALLY loved playing this game. I hope the devs get a whole bunch of love and make more games like this in the future!

This game is okay, but not one I would recommend. It presents as solving puzzles, but once solved it becomes annoying to look at the key to shelve potions in the right order. And several "puzzles" are just taking the bottle to an object to reveal the number (something you are told is a possibility in the tutorial). But the real reason I give it a thumb's down is the main gameplay: shelving the potions. When on the ground, the bottles all mesh together. And the only way to determine where it goes is the front of the bottle. So you end up having to shelve them and then move them around. It's tedious and ruins the gameplay for me. Had the creator taken time and made bottles more unique, my opinion would change. Also, you have to level up to get points, but some levels don't seem to get you points. At max, you can only carry 10 items. There is no magic to put things in the right order (which would be great if that was unlocked once all the puzzles were solved). I solved the puzzles but don't think I'll finish the game. Which says a lot since I replayed many other sorting/organizing games repeatedly.
i fully recomend this game as a cosy lil tidy up game if ur looking for an ez 100% trophies and a chilled out game sesh then this is defantly a game for you ive enjoyed it alot and i hate cleaning up
This is a 'tidy up' game where you sort potions using their color, bottle shapes and labels to place them in the right shelf section in the right groupings and then, to figure out the exact order the potions go in on the shelf, you solve simple, easy puzzles. Loved the premise, the creativity, the environment, the vibe and, of course, the cats! 9/10 Definitely recommend! (Lost one point because three out of eight of the shape pics on the bottles were next to impossible to differentiate from each other so I ended up brute forcing it on every shelf and a couple of the flower pics were also quite difficult to tell apart so I used my phone to take a pic and zoomed in on them.)
Very repetitive and once you solve the puzzles it is just boring. After 3 colors had nothing left to do but slowly and painfully sort and stock the shelf.
cant even finish the achievement for not using magic as one of the keybinds on controller to see completed puzzles is the same as a magic! so it uses it when I dont want to even use it
I adore this game -- Cats and mindless sorting, what's not to love? There's even puzzles so you're not matching just colours and shape, but a little puzzle solving too! I adore this game, and the felines in it, the puzzles too... That is, until I get to that one damn puzzle; THE FREAKING CLOCK. You'd think a normal clock would have twelve dashes. TWELVE. One for each hour of the day (shut up 24-Hour military time users, this isn't towards you) -- But NO. There's only ELEVEN. So trying to figure out where exactly the godforsaken 2:00 is when the game actually has it registered as 3:00??? The only correct ones are 6:00 and 12:00 -- EVerything else is on some damn alternative timeline where THERE'S ONLY ELEVEN HOURS ON A CLOCK. So far, that is the ONLY godforsaken puzzle I have had to use a guide for. Everything else is rather easy once you find the proper clues that go with it... However, I've yet to tackle a few puzzles, so my opinon may change.... But the clock puzzle? I will EAT YOU.
Great game, really enjoyed and I was immediately captivated and barely able to do anything else until I finished the first playthough. For the added chaos of it, I played initially with the game language in japanese, which I speak a little of, but am absolutely not fluent and my reading comprehension is garbage. Can confirm that the game is entirely playable and it is possible to figure out the puzzles with aproximately the reading skills of a 7 yr old, and the vocab of even younger. I really wish however that the game stored your completion times somewhere (at the very least, I haven't been able to find it). I didn't take a screenshot of the completion pop-up with my initial time and I really regret it. Especially because there is only the one save file, and to start a new run you have to overwrite the previous one. I would like the ability to compare times with my friends and also compare my no-perks-or-skills-run time with my as-fast as possible-now-know-what-I'm-doing time.
Ultimately I don't think this game does enough with how it attempts to set itself apart and it makes for an overall worse experience. The biggest problem is unfortunately its main selling point: the puzzles. There just aren't enough of them to justify them as a function. You've solved them all by the second or third color of potion you've filled out, and then you just spend the rest of the time squinting at labels and the reference list to put them in the arbitrary order demanded of the puzzle, never really getting into a groove the way you can simply shelf away a numbered set. Well, with the exception of the actual numbered sets, but that gets into a secondary complaint that having to run around to trigger the props over and over also gets tedious... and then on the exact opposite end are the floating items and the shape sides, which have to be carefully inspected every single time because it's simply not possible to correctly identify where in the group most of them are at a glance. The puzzles are also fixed, which I thought was strange. I expected at least the ones with random glyphs to be shuffled on my subsequent playthrough, particularly since the game resets your solutions list, but when I realized everything was in the same order it felt like the point was lost and now I just had to make friends with the reference overlay again. Setting it to toggle instead of hold didn't even feel like an accessibility concern so much as just a reduced hassle since I'd pretty much always be using it. Exacerbating this issue is the existence of an achievement to get a hint from the cats. On my first playthrough, I was determined to find the answers myself, and on the second, because they're the same, I already knew all the answers and didn't need to ask. By the time I realized I still needed the achievement, the puzzles were all solved again and I would have to start a third playthrough and intentionally sandbag my performance to reach the filled shelves quota before the hint ability opens while avoiding at least one puzzle. I'm not really an achievement hunter, so I think I'll just not bother, but that seems like a silly situation. Magic feels bizarrely weak in this game. Many Library players, myself included, had the concern that magic basically plays the game for you past a certain point, but this game countersteered far too hard to the point it was hardly faster than a no-magic run. One of the few things I did like about Library's magic was that the reactivatable duration effect of the highlight spell meant if used carefully you could go through several small sets of books in one cast, significantly improving efficiency before the other spells powered up. However, since the highlight spell here just targets your current potion once and then goes on cooldown, it's functionally identical to the gather spell except slower. For me at least, I was already grabbing off the ground based on the color anyway, so I don't really feel like it saves you anything. I guess that's a side effect of the relationship between shelves and puzzles. But because of that, it didn't feel like there was any strategic element to using the spell. And finally, the incomplete shelf highlight spell just seems totally pointless. It just adds a ton of visual noise for virtually no benefit, a bizarre inversion of having a spell that shows you where you do have to go. Past all that, an automatic shelving spell would have significantly eased the tediousness of the already solved puzzles, yet no such thing exists. Sorry for the constant comparisons, but I don't think it's avoidable here. In the end it took me about six hours to finish the game with no magic the first attempt, and another three with magic after that. Which isn't really much of a gap, especially if accounting for the time saved not having to solve the puzzles again. The rest of the hours were paused and away working. I think, honestly, if I had used magic the first time and realized sooner how rapidly the puzzles become irrelevant while still slowing you down, I would have refunded the game. Instead I made that observation too late and saw it through, but it wasn't really worth the time.
I'd also like to conclude by saying that having an ending where your boss comes back and tells you you wasted your time doing something you didn't have to because they would have fixed it anyway didn't really help my final thoughts. I'm not so fragile that I need positive reinforcement and to be praised and told I did a good job or anything, but it felt lame and if it was trying to be funny I didn't laugh.
Oh yeah, I forgot to also include one of my other complaints: This game's soundtrack sucks. That is to say, the single song that plays for your entire runtime isn't great. No sugarcoating that one, sorry.
