Необычайно прекрасная игра, подарившая детство. Графика на высоте, саундтреки, оригинальный стиль...глаза и душа отдыхают во время прохождения. Она относительно короткая, проходится на одном дыхании, из-за чего залипаешь в нее минимум на полтора часа. Будь я разработчиком, добавила бы онлайн и прохождение вне сюжета мамы-рыси.

Better fit for casual and new gamers such as kids.[/h3] [u]The Good[/u] + Unique graphics + Decent concept + Looks and feels cozy, despite it being very nature faithful [u]The Meh[/u] ~ Too many collectables ~ Easily gets visually cluttered ~ UI is a bit clunky with no context other than intro ~ Played on keyboard, so I can't say whether it's controller compatible or not [u]The Bad[/u] - Buggy, I had issues getting stuck because the lynx jumped of a cliff and landed on it's back like a turtle - Way too many collectables, some aren't even placed out on the map and require tutorials/bugs to find - Some encounters are just really annoying to deal with - Had a kit "die" for no apparant reason when it got stuck on terrain (possibly due to cut direct visuals and "fog") - The game loop is so simple it gets boring fast Closing statement: I wanted to give this game another try and complete it for once, but I found myself getting annoyed with it.

Shelter 2 is a short but genuinely emotional experience that surprised me with how attached I got to my lynx cubs — when one of them started wailing from hunger or got taken by a predator, it actually hurt. The stylized visuals and haunting music give the game a unique atmosphere that few games manage to pull off, and the open-world hunting loop is satisfying enough to carry you through the 1-2 hour runtime. That said, be aware this is very light on mechanics: hunting is simple, threats are rare, and the massive collectable system feels completely disconnected from the core loop of keeping your family alive. If you go in expecting a deep survival game you'll be disappointed, but if you want a brief, artistic, emotionally resonant experience about motherhood and the wild, it delivers — just wait for a sale.

Wonderful game! I will say it can be a bit buggy at times, and there's not a lot of challenge to keeping your kits alive. Once you know what the threats are, they're pretty easy to avoid. But the art style is beautiful, the gameplay is fun and relaxing, and I enjoyed playing and replaying through a long family tree.

It's a beautiful game that locks you in stress, paranoia and awe but however there isn't much to the game. No story, but you can make one up in your head and the map is absolutely breathtaking. Shelter 2 puts you in this world as a mother that makes you protect your children from anything and everything. You can collect so many fossils that aren't seen to the eye unless you search, or you have to be really quick with certain animals because they flee fast. You always have to find food or your cubs will starve, don't stand under/near trees when it rains or thunder because it'll start a fire, keep your eyes peeled in the snowy areas, don't waste your stamina it's very important, etc. I just love that kind of anxiety it puts on you. Buuuut wish I could put a neutral review instead of yes or no. You can get bored very easily if you've played it before, and if you don't like shaky or confusing controls, it's a skip. Not to mention the price.. it's so expensive for a game that you can easily complete in an hour or so. Replayability is a hard thing to do with this game in my opinion. If you love animals and have that parental/maternal feeling alongside survival, go for it!! Otherwise I think it's a skip for sure.

Невероятно атмосферная и красивая игра. Мне нравится, как смело разработчики экспериментировали с тайлами и фактурой разных поверхностей и животных. Это очень смелый и необычный визуальный стиль, которым я наслаждалась всю игру. Отдельное спасибо за саундтрек и саунд дизайн, он прекрасен! Игра очень маленькая, но ощущается невероятно приятно. Спасибо авторам! <3
