About
shapez 2 is a 3D factory-building game where you automate the extraction, production and delivery of geometric shapes. Each shape is its own set of building blocks that your factories can take apart, stack, paint and put back together in near-infinite different ways.

Deliver specific shapes to unlock new technologies, expanding your factory’s capabilities and scale to make even more unique shapes. Grow a single conveyor belt into a massive multi-station space factory across three interconnected layers. Keep it efficient and optimise every platform, or expand into the infinity of space and connect a million buildings by space train – you decide how you engineer your factory.

shapez 2 is the purest factory simulation game imaginable: all buildings are free, resources never run out and there are no enemies or time limits. Effortlessly delete, redesign and rebuild your spaghetti belts as much as you want, without penalties. You’re in complete control of this sandbox, so you can focus on how to craft the next shape.

Whether you’re new to the genre, a casual or an automation veteran, shapez 2 is for everyone. Pick between three difficulty levels with completely unique logistic puzzles each or take on the experimental Hexagonal mode. There are many reasons to play shapez 2 again and again.

If you’re looking for a list of what shapez 2 has to offer, these are the features you should know about:
Multi-Layer 3D Factories: Design and optimize your factories across three building layers for both buildings and platforms. Connect everything by space belt or train!
Multiple Difficulty Levels: One main game mode with multiple difficulty levels for both new and veteran players, as well as the experimental Hexagonal mode if you’re up for the challenge
Challenging Shape Mechanics: Discover shapes types with unique properties and logic
Open Production Buildings: Build stunning space factories with animated open buildings, so you can always see exactly what’s going on or going wrong
Research System: Unlock new buildings, mechanics & upgrades that open up new ways to build your factory
Blueprint Library: Save, load, export and share factory design blueprints with anyone
Easy controls: Effortlessly cut, copy & paste parts of your factory and undo & redo up to 50 operations with intuitive keyboard controls

Super fun game, lots of thinking but not to hard, becomes very satisfying as you progress and runs extremely well on any platform, even old macs
It’s a good game, and I don’t think it deserves a negative review. It just didn’t catch me. I missed having enemies and resource management or economic system. Liking Factorio and Satisfactory doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll enjoy this game as well.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

it gets repetitive after 4th goal, and all upgrades are unlocked through mass producing 2 of the shapes.
Amazingly chill logic puzzle game that incentivizes progression without pressure.
Amazing game. Love the 3d aspect of this. It pretty cool you can just stack two layers of cutters on top of each other and then get a massive efficiency boost. I would absolutely recommend it. Runs perfectly 50-60fps with graphics Extreme setting whilst running using 16GB RAM and an RX 9060 XT 16GB and an 4th gen i7. Only during start it does not respond quite a lot, but when the mainmenu has loaded it's fine. Do note that you should leave Limit FPS to disabled when using VSync, otherwise it will still do screentearing (even when the limit fps is set to the same fps as your screen).
I got this game based on my love of Factorio and my experience of the preceding Shapez game. The first game was a fun little puzzle game that made a good time-waster while I was listening to a podcast or doing something else on my other monitor. This game fleshes out that simple puzzle game into a fully-fledged (sort of -- more on that in a moment) logistics sim. As a Factorio player, I appreciated the focus of this game on pure logistics and puzzle-solving. No enemies, no resource sinks, no power-generation or running out of raw materials. But therein lies the problem, ultimately. Shapez 2 is a fun game, but at some point you'll have a full blueprint stack to make anything you want, and at that point the challenge kind of evaporates. The game just boils down to plunking down various blueprint modules and watching numbers slowly tick up. The whole puzzle-solving aspect of the game evaporates around the midpoint and past that you're just trying to make numbers go bigger by parallelizing your factory designs to produce more output. But then again: this is the *point* of real-world logistics. Reduce friction, standardize process, scale up delivery. "Winning" means getting the most stuff from point A to point B the fastest until some arbitrary point is achieved. Shapez 2 is a good game, and quite fun if you enjoy the logistics aspects of other factory games, but it starts to feel quite thin as the game goes along. For example, the whole train system is underbaked and really needs an overhaul to improve routing and traffic control. It would have been nice to have an early-game guided tutorial scenario rather than relying on "jobs" to teach fundamental concepts -- I eschewed doing jobs for a long time until I got hung up conceptually on crystals, and then realized that had I been ignoring the jobs before rushing the milestones, it would have taught me the concepts I needed to understand crystals. Yes, this was my fault for skipping the jobs, but the game really needs to improve how progression works in the early game. The game runs very smoothly on my fairly low-spec PC (I'm using it on Linux via Proton) using the Vulkan renderer. I did have some stuttering early on, but once I changed the rendering threads setting from "Auto" to "4" the problem went away. Graphics are simple, but nice and clean -- and the UI scales nicely if you are sight-impaired or just want bigger (or smaller) on-screen UI components. Sound is good, though it does get a bit repetitious after awhile -- I ended up muting it after the first dozen hours or so. So: fun game, but it's got some rough edges. I recommend it, but be aware that it's nowhere near as comprehensive (or complex!) as Factorio or other top factory games. I recommend it, but keep your expectations in check. It's intended to be a less-stressful, chill sort of experience, and it achieves that goal for the most part.
Jogo incrivel
Great game. It's game that makes you undo and redo layouts until you lose all sanity. Reaching that top production is like a drug when all the goals are so high. It is as if the clock has stopped and you are going 100mph and don't realize that 5 hours has past and you're still on the same job. The level of planning ahead is so critical because you didn't notice that you needed that same shape 10 jobs later. It has me dragged in I can not stop until I finish a job. Once you start there is no going back. 10/10 would recommend.
The first one took all my time. Now the second one is taking it but somehow even faster. This game is amazing and such a prize. Honestly such a great game. I am kinda jealous how the devloper pulled a second game this good
