lovely little indie gem that lets ya kick back relax and watch the world burn. this game is so my cup a tea, so up my ally! I bought it twice! once on itch.io for $10 and again on steam. if ya want the low down on the game check out me quick look: https://youtu.be/3GtCmAkNw6g leave a challenge for me ta do in the comments. i'll bumble my way to victory or die trying dammit!
Very interesting
Become one of many world-ending crises and wipe humanity away with a tide of bodies, blood, and madness. Board-game aesthetic and sensibilities, with tons of little systems intricacies. Very clever and engaging single-player strategy game, perfect for a lazy day shuffling tokens on a board and convincing nobles to backstab each other.

Too complicated to figure out how to do anything.
Interesting concept for a game but the UI is just horrible. To top it off the Developer gave up mid way through then released a copy of the game for free on itch.io without the crappy pics. If you really want to try the game just download that version since you won't be losing and real game play without those pics.
I don't know anything about the drama surrounding this game's development, but whatever it loses from still being in development the core mechanics and premise are really fun. It's fun being an evil overlord of different kinds. The UI and politics are a little janky but it's worth picking up if you can get it on sale. 7/10 Would be willing to do another Dagon/White Walker Run again.
Very fun game, Sucks you in, definitely crusty and needs a UI facelift along with some more diversity in your agents, but very fun regardless
Around 2 hours in and the game refuses to save, it also refuses to end turn, essentially turning the game into a lifeless map. And from the other reviews I've seen, not only have these bugs have been around for a while now, the owner has completely abandoned this game, which means bugs like these seem unlikely to get fixed. If it weren't for these two gamebreaking bugs, I'd definitely recommend this game. I love the idea of being able to indirectly manipulate several kingdoms through a series of long term plans, covert actions, and even causing the dead to rise up. Unfortunately, this game has become unplayable for me, in just over 2 hours of playing, and now wastes space in my library.
A really fascinating game, highly enjoyable. It's mechanics are easy to "get" but hard to master with a lot of complexity. Lots of unique approaches to taking over Kingdoms- from playing politics through your acolytes and pawns, to brutal take-overs, monstrous invasions, stirring civil war- finding artefacts of mass destruction etc- the list is truly massive with a lot of re-playability. I would highly recommend.
Worth the price tag ($9). Very cool concept that was really fun. The pacing really worked when it came early middle and late game feeling very different.
