About
Shadow Warrior 2 is the stunning evolution of Flying Wild Hog’s offbeat first-person shooter following the further misadventures of former corporate shogun Lo Wang. Now surviving as a reclusive mercenary on the edge of a corrupted world, the formidable warrior must again wield a devastating combination of guns, blades, magic and wit to strike down the demonic legions overwhelming the world. Battle alongside allies online in four-player co-op or go it alone in spectacular procedurally-generated landscapes to complete daring missions and collect powerful new weapons, armor, and arcane relics of legend.
Five years have passed since Lo Wang shattered the alliance between his deceitful former boss and the ancient gods of the shadow realm. Despite noble intentions, Lo Wang’s efforts to annihilate the darkness corrupted the world, creating a strange and savage new order where humans and demons live side by side.
The once feared warrior now lives in the shifting wildlands outside the reach of his enemies and the neon glow of Zilla’s cybernetic metropolis, scratching out a meager existence as a hired sword for the local Yakuza clans. When a simple mission goes wrong, Lo Wang is drawn into a volatile conflict between a brilliant young scientist, his nemesis Orochi Zilla, and the demonic forces that have become unsettled in our world. The sharp-tongued hero must once again wield lethal blades, staggering firepower, and archaic magic to purge the world of evil.
Blades and Bullets: Lo Wang delivers his own brand full throttle brutality with an expanded array of over 70 lethal blades and explosive firearms to overcome the demonic opposition. Become a whirlwind of steel and blood with razor sharp katana, short swords, crescent blades, and hand claws or unleash a hellish symphony of ornate firearms to decimate your enemies.
Four Player Co-Op: Battle through the expansive campaign alone or team up as a four-player typhoon of destruction online in campaign co-op mode. Tackle challenging primary missions or thrilling side quests while maintaining your own ninja style with customizable armor, items, and valuable loot from your triumphs.
Procedural Environments: The breach between the human and demon realms created an interdimensional hernia resulting in constant shifts to the world of Shadow Warrior 2. Procedurally generated landscapes and paths bring new twists and turns to once familiar terrain and routine missions.
Brutal Damage System: Choose your weapon based on the situation at hand and then dismantle everything that stands in your path with an advanced gore system. Use precision blade strikes to separate limbs and heads or switch to heavy ordinance and blow a hole right through colossal beasts.
Custom Upgrade System: Upgrade weapons in your arsenal with up to three stones at once to improve performance or augment them with devastating elemental effects. Collect karma, amulets, and armor to enhance Lo Wang’s power and shift his death-dealing artistry into overdrive.
The Shadow Warrior series started back in the 90s with Shadow Warrior Classic that was remastered and released on Steam by Devolver Digital and 3D Realms as Shadow Warrior Classic Redux. Then in 2013, Flying Wild Hog and Devolver Digital released the bold reimagining of the legend of Lo Wang with the modern classic Shadow Warrior.

Reviews

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A huge disappointment to the franchise. TL;DR: Play this if you enjoyed Borderlands weapon system. If you're looking for pure FPS demon-killing, the previous games are better at it. This one's only improvement to the franchise is the ability to play co-op. Specifically: - Too much RPG-like. - Too many upgrade embedings for weapons - DPS stats for weapon embeddings does not take reload into account. Also not properly take into account negative damage stat against specific enemy type, or miscalculate extra damage as overall even if it applies only under specific conditions - No feature to automatically equip the most DPS-output embeddings available from inventory- Managing your weapon loadout costs more gameplay time than the actual gameply - Very hard ammunition management, even with 8 different weapons in loadout - 9 different ammunition type available, but only 8 weapons selectable in the inventory - Melee weapon takes a slot in the 8 selectable weapons, meaning if you want to have a melee weapon with you, you'll leave 2 ammunition types out of usage - You can change weapons from your stash to your equipable inventory during the mission, which means basically there is no limitation to which weapons you can use when you need them, but thanks to the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ design of the UI this requires a few extra clicks to do. Definitely not a fun way to manage weapons. - Too much camera inconvenience when falling from high ground - Too ♥♥♥♥♥♥ map navigation in different floors in some missions - Enemies respawn - Enemies have resistance or vulnerability to random elemental damage, hinting you to make proper use of weapon for each circumstance, however this can only be identified if you have enemy UI toggled. - Speaking of which, HP bars and damage numbers on enemies is really not something this game should have had. Add stuff to it to make the game worse, the epitome of stupidity. - Side missions disappear if you progress the story and the game's warning for this is not "you know, this will disappear", but instead the warning says "the story mission might be harder if you don't complete side missions" - Fully playable coop, but the progression/completion% is only stored on the host player - Players in coop gain character levels on their own progress, not shared in the game - Some enemies are OP and will give you brain cancer at times - Heavy weapons like rocket launchers and grenade launchers can easily miss enemies up close, which makes no sense - Performance is also an issue. No matter what I try I can't get the GPU usage below 100%. I have 4070TI and the game forces its resources usage to maximum, even if I try to override it through nvidia panel

This game was so good I went and played 1st and 3rd but they are very different. 1st is just fps like half life 1, 2nd is looter shooter rpg, 3rd is series of room battles that is just disappointing
爽游,但是砍到后面会突然想不明白自己在干什么
Shadow Warrior 2 is a chaotic mix of brilliant ideas and questionable execution. The combat is fast, flashy, and undeniably fun: slicing through demons and blasting everything in sight never really gets old. The weapon variety is fantastic, and the movement is so smooth that jumping, dashing, and sprinting through levels feels great. But everything around that glorious combat? Rough. The story is paper-thin, the humor often tries way too hard, and the random mission structure makes the world feel disconnected and repetitive. Even the loot system, which should add depth, ends up feeling messy and bloated instead. And yet… despite all its flaws, the game still manages to be entertaining. When Shadow Warrior 2 leans into its strengths, fast-paced action, creative weapons, and over-the-top demon slaying, it’s a blast. It’s far from perfect, but if you’re looking for pure, mindless fun with style, you’ll find it here.
I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this game, let's throw out everything that made the first one good.
