I always wished for a fast and loose interpretation of DBZ-esque fighting in a video game. The way this game does it just makes sense! It's all good and well that the official DBZ games do such a good job at recreating the exact moments from the source material. But man, I just wanna power up, transform into a super form, and throw explosions at dudes, and this game cuts out the chaff to let me just do that. I love being able to free-form combo a dude into the air, teleport behind him, ping-pong combo him left and right across the sky, then spike him back down to the ground from orbit. That ♥♥♥♥ ain't scripted, *I* did that! The game isn't as polished as I'd like for it to be; hit detection seems a bit wonky at high speeds, and it can be difficult to parse what I'm looking at sometimes. I think if the game automatically magnetted the attacker to their target (just a little), then that would go a long way in ironing out some of the wrinkles. But if you can get past some of the hurdles, I think this is a diamond in the rough.

My dream Dragon Ball Z game as an 8 year old. Nerf Hazel, broken character.
The AI taught me how to play this game better than any human ever could. 10/10 would get bodied again
Controls and balancing are kinda janky but the gameplay is fun
Great title for where its at! Enjoying the newest update compared to where it was almost a year ago! Can tell the team of 2 at Dream Within Studios is taking any feedback and going after it with passion. Online Multiplayer when?
I keep getting uppercut and it really FRICKIN HURTS GOD DSMAN PLEASE
Awful. The AI completely reads your moves on the controller. They respond exactly to what moves you make and repeat the same tactic until you die. Tried playing as the main guy and my opponent in single player mode was this guy in a orange/yellow gi. He constantly runs up to me and uppercuts me in the air before spamming ki blasts from the corner. If I try to get down to fight him, he's able to instantly calculate when and where my jump trajectory is to uppercut me again until I die. Also there appears to be a transformation in this game but no tutorial or instructions on how to do it. I will refund this but keep on it for improvements. Has potential but is currently unplayable. A practice mode would be nice.
Doesn't work- full stop. Broken game. If you have two monitors, one of them will be unusable while playing the game. This game has no zeroing for your analog sticks and therefore if you don't have a new-out-of-the-box controller you will have random button inputs that other games seem to have no problems with. No settings page to speak of, so the incredibly loud music must be manually tuned down in the system mixer. You can't change the terrible control scheme for keyboard nor can you use any custom hardware due to the absence of button mapping. Extremely strange game all told. Once I got it working it wasn't even particularly fun since all the characters are in the featherweight class and every strike sends people to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pluto. I got it for 50 cents and I still feel a little ripped off.
