He is coming, stalking criminals in the spirit world and the real world. A possessed man is coming, a voodoo mask in his chest and lines of power in his back. Shadow Man is coming, trailing evil from Liveside to Deadside. To stop an apocalypse. To save your soul.

Es epico. Pero paciencia porque no hay mapa ni indicadores como en los juegos actuales. Aca uno se pierde y se traba y hay que revisar los niveles varias veces. Pero para mi es uno de los mejores juegos de la historia.

Ah, yes, good old Shadowman, with its dark and brutal atmosphere. I loved it back then, and I love it now, after remaster. What’s new in this version? Better graphics, new enemies (including bosses), and revamped boss levels. Everything that developers didn’t include in the original version. And then there’s “The Horror”. And it's name stands for it cause it’s very, very difficult. A new difficulty isn’t just about more HP. The monsters have new weapons, new attacks, and there are way more of them. In my opinion, the developers went a bit too far with this. I like challenges, but some levels are borderline playable - mostly The Temples :) There are so many Sisters in the rooms that it’s not really a challenge—it’s a torment. And I’m saying this after beating The Horror on 100% (120 souls and 666 cadeaux). Never again.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Action-adventure Dark Souls but you are a supernatural demon hunting voodoo priest with a gun that can travel from the Bayou to the world of the dead to kill zombies and demons. It's gory af, it's death metal. The sound and environment design is crazy good, you can hear like some chains in the wind, babies crying, people screaming, mental psychological weird sh*t keeps going on like the maps are sometimes really big but something they cram you in small corridors labyrinths that feel completely suffocating. The main character is awesome, he looks like Blade if he was played by Samuel L Jackson, he's dating a hot babe that looks like Cleopatra. Idk if that does not look like a good time to you go get your head checked. It's insanely badass. Just get it.
The dark souls, are mine. Great game great remaster as well. Maybe a little too long but worth it for the journey. The horror, the horror!!!!!
Played the Louisiana intro section of the original back when I was a kid, it stayed with me all this time, just as a memory of an obscure game, hadn't even gotten to the Deadside, oh the horror! I finally found the title and for the first time I played the entire thing to completion, what an insane game, the gameplay loop of those older games is truly something else, this game felt great to play (except for the repetitive bosses that all play the same except a couple exceptions), yet it gave me tons of anxiety at times, because the game itself is hell, and that's definitely not a nice place to stay, no nice whimsy stuff to look at. Almost every level is like an hellish maze that you can't truly figure out even after hours of being there, but that's one of the unique things about this game, and I love it. The whole horror voodoo vibe is immaculate and the Metroidvania aspect of it, with the way souls unlock new places etc. is truly top notch. I recommend it, but I'm not sure it's a game meant for most people. I AM THE LORD OF THE DEADSIDE.
I bought this on sale for 3.99. I had the original version from steam, the n64, and the ps1 version. I was never terribly interested in this game. Playing this remastered version is pretty fun. I love the voodoo atmosphere of it. The mouse and keyboard controls work great on this version. My Xbox controller also work pretty well for it. I love the N64 enhanced graphics of the game. Its got a cool spooky and gross look to it. I have not played to far into this game. I don't really know the story to it. It has a very cool voodoo, undead, occultic theme to it that is great. It seems like the levels are kind of explorative and metroidvania-ish. The game is definitely worth 3.99 on sale. It is probably the best version of the game you can play.
I played a whole lot of different games, but Shadow Man is still my favorite of all time. The music is sensational, unsettling and I used to listen to the music to fall asleep about 15 years ago (yeah I'm weird). The Remaster has places we didn't have in the original Version and it's honestly so cool to get these extras. I got all dark souls, almost all cadeaux (which is a pain in the a) and there is a door behind the max level gate, that I couldn't enter yet, but got spoilers when I wanted to know if it's a bug (I won't give that spoiler here). Apparently there is also a way higher difficulty and new game+ you can do after completing it normally for the first time, so it definitely has replay value. The fact that Jack the Ripper really existed and knowing the backstory makes that part especially unsettling and I named myself back then after "Avery Marx", which is another "Mini-Boss" and probably the most creepy one in the entire game. If you played the game back then and think you saw everything - Quite a bit changed and quite a bit of new things were added in the Remaster that are 100% worth getting this one as well. There are really just two things I didn't really like back then, that are also the case in the Remaster and that's the huge amount of backtracking and that the game is like a maze almost throughout. As someone who already has a big problem with orientation in real life, this is a nightmare in the game and also makes it really difficult to find all cadeaux. Thankfully there are guides that help a lot with it. In short: In my opinion, it's absolutely worth the price and the time you would spend on the game and it's a game that's absolutely unique. I played hundreds of games in my life and not a single one was like this. It's really a masterpiece
