Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Selaco is a brand new original shooter inspired by classics, featuring thrilling action set pieces, destructibility, smart enemies and a fleshed out story taking place within an immersive game world. It draws inspiration heavily from F.E.A.R. in terms of action set pieces, while mixing exploration elements from Half-Life, along with some more modern features.

The story takes place during a violent invasion on Selaco, a massive space station sheltering the last refugees after Earth’s fall just a few years prior. You play as Dawn Collins, an ACE Security Captain who, with her recent promotion and high level security clearances, is digging deep into the truth behind Selaco's murky history. Before she can finish her investigation, Selaco is rocked by explosions and armed invaders.

A lengthy adventure-driven campaign
Selaco offers a massive, uninterrupted journey packed with action and atmosphere. Explore a wide range of environments in a fully connected world - no cutaways, no time jumps, just seamless momentum from start to finish.
Intense Action set pieces
Blast through your environment with impactful weapons that really leave a mark on the world. That once lavish office space, now nothing but a pile of rubble with broken paintings, smashed tables, screen, chairs, smoke, and chunks of debris.
Custom AI
Selaco’s AI was built from the ground up for dynamic, coordinated combat. Enemies communicate, flank, suppress, and adapt to your tactics - keeping pressure when you're aggressive or rushing when you're vulnerable. Hundreds of voiced lines hint at their next move, making every fight feel alive.
Full soundtrack
Selaco features an original, full-length soundtrack composed by Lawrence Steele, with over 3 hours of neon-tinged electronica spanning from high-intensity combat tracks to immersive, atmospheric soundscapes.
Adapt & Overcome
As enemies evolve and gain access to new tools, so do you. Improve your weaponry with new utility upgrades, or transform weapon behavior entirely with Weapon Kits.
Replayability
Selaco is designed with replayability in mind. Jump into Randomizer Mode to experience remixed mechanics, exclusive enemies, and fully customizable chaos. Or test your skills in Incursion Mode (coming later during Early Access), an endless survival challenge set in Deathmatch-style arenas.
Updates
Build ids and update times come straight from Steam's PICS — the same source SteamDB reads. Patch history grows as we record new builds.

Everything is great about this game, besides the endless maze...... and backtracking really make it hard to keep playing. I look forward to playing again if this is fixed! :D Also, the maps feel to small for the mechanics of strafing and sliding, but that could just be me sucking at the game.

What do you get when developer is super anal about making the shooting mechanic super polished to the point where map design, exploration, weapon design, game clarity, player orientation, map differentiation, mini map, visual noise control, environmental variety etc. suffers? You get selaco... The good: + defo polished GZdoom engine + you can blow up enemy heads + shooting mechanic is good + secrets to find rewarding exploration The Neutral: ~ not everyone will like the futuristic setting I guess ~ game recommends vulkan driver, never seen that before I think The bad: - map clarity is really bad, still hard to find the way - maps are samey office spaces which adds to the feeling of being lost and not knowing where to go - I played on the setting that should favour visual clarify and in gunfights/situations when enemies are approaching its hard to see what is going on, I have never experienced something likes this in any other game, I think they have some many little doodads that they wanted to be destroyed in a fight the obstruct the view most of the time - weapons are painfully GENERIC - no red blood, devs claim its alien we are fighting even though they look, sound and behave like humans, but aliens, but humans you know - every map looks samey, same colours, similar looking corridords - no minimap - map is trash - not sure what the story is - this game should have minimal requirements yet it needs to load when moving form a fairly small map to a next one, wtf... - enemy AI is retarded, 2 enemies approach me with long RANGE rifles, what do they? do they hide behind cover, flank and fire at me? nah my dude, they walk up to my FACE and then fire...it would be comedic if it wasn't tragic - enemies come at you out of door in the walls, but you cant use those door, just like the BS enemy spawning behind you in doom3...this is ridiculously bad game design, feels like cheating - slide gives you forward momentum out of nowhere, you stand then boom wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee you slide 30 miles an hour, I guess its a power of female farts - how is the player to know to shoot down the elevator cable? - 2 years and still chapter 1 only available - found a locker that required a code, no code, walked around, found code now I can't find where the locker was... - some enemies try to shoot me through wall - managed to finish a map (I literally found my way accidentally after wandering around for 15minutes, map summary says there were 4 upgrades on the map, like WTF>? where? - entered next map, I am in utility zone and no clue where to go... f.... this cluster f... - devs want 21£ for this trash design, hell no way REFUNDED
Extremely regretful 25 dollar purchase. Buy this game game only if you have a fetish for getting lost in hallways spamming the Q key. For everyone else, avoid.
Can't get past the first chapter, not because the game is hard exactly but because there's no variety within the levels. Everything is just dark gray walls and random office furniture, making it impossible to navigate. Might help a little if they'd add a compass indicator? Dunno, but until it's possible to walk around and say "oh, THIS is/is not a way I've been down before" it's really not playable.
This is a good Doom clone, although the fights tend to be messy. Most of the time you're ambushed from several sides and the enemies use the maps against you. Had to stop halfway the first episode because the level design is labyrinthine. Basically the whole episode is one open world several kilometers wide but it's all samey hallways and not enough landmarks or signs. The devs tried to patch this but after two years it's still a confusing maze with constant backtracking.
Fear meets Doom meets Half Life. Selaco is a spectacle considered it's made in the GZ Doom engine and looks this good. Gameplay is smooth and satisfying. Weapons are cool and punchy. The levels can be confusing, but the map is helpful and they mark some things on there that you need to collect. Overall a really good time. Can't wait for episode 2!
I wasn't really sold at first, because I like my shooters more oldschool in the sense of having enclosed levels, that take 15-20 minutes to finish like in AMID EVIL, having ridiculous movement like in TURBO OVERKILL, and in general putting gameplay and gunplay above everything else! That's why I think Half Life 1+2 are very overrated, because, let's be honest for a sec: the gunplay and movement in both those games blows... HARD! Selaco fixes that and then some! The guns feel amazing and have a great upgrade system, the movement just feels right and precise, the pacing ist great (if your testosterone levels alllow u to have a sense of direction), tons of secrets to discover, incredible details regarding the worldbuilding and the literal building of the world, challenging enemies that are a joy to fight, and a staggering amount of customization to alter ur experience: -Don't want empty levels, when u backtrack to look for secrets? Turn on random encounters and choose their frequency -Want a more arcade like experience plus RPG elements? Turn on the item randomizer, weapon tiers and so on and on and on... I think I finished this game a dozen times already and not in the same way twice.... Did I mention this is only the first episode?! Second one is on its way, plus a challenge endless wave mode or something... Listen... In the end only two things are undisputable: I will play more than 300 hours of this single player FPS and MJ is the GOAT... get this game
