Sekiro™: Shadows Die Twice - GOTY Edition

8/10 Glad I decided to play this game; it had me hooked and eager to keep going. Sekiro plays a bit differently from the other Souls-like games, but the core concept is still the same. If you've played the Dark Souls games, this one is a must-play. It's more linear, offers less character customization, and puts a much greater focus on stealth and precise combat. The parry-focused combat takes time to master, but once it clicks, it's satisfying. The learning curve is steep, and I personally thought most of the bosses were too difficult. I found myself farming skill points and currency just to stand a better chance, which wasn't very enjoyable and became time-consuming. The grappling hook and vertical movement also make exploration feel fresh compared to other FromSoftware games. I love the map design, and the story was surprisingly good. The game also ran great on PC, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be coming back to this game from time to time because I had a blast. If you love a challenge, this game will definitely scratch that itch.
