You're a security officer deep within Area 51. Scan the staff, verify clearances, and decide who can enter the elevator and who absolutely mustn't leave. The deeper you go, the less certain you are that anyone standing before you is still human.

Security 51 is an atmospheric security guard simulator inspired by Papers, Please, and SCP paranoia. You're on duty in the underground bunker of Area 51, where the most dangerous part begins at the elevator: the shaft descends for miles down to unknown levels. Whether it's laboratories, anomalies, inhumane experiments, or something alien—you're not supposed to know. Your task is simple: let in those who have access and stop those who don't... even if everything looks "right" on the surface.
Everyone who passes through your checkpoint carries papers and passes. Your job is to check names, positions, clearance levels, and time, ensuring the number of people entering and leaving matches, and pay attention to any oddities. As time passes you'll catch yourself thinking that something's wrong more and more, and the only thing to rely on will be the protocols. But even they can be wrong.
With experience, you'll gain increasingly more accurate methods of identity verification, such as blood testing. Did that janitor simply open the wrong door, or are they a spy for an enemy government? Or are they not even human? When in doubt, quarantine the suspect. Sometimes you'll make mistakes and lock up an ordinary employee, and sometimes you'll find a titanium cell ripped open from the inside. Some decisions will have immediate consequences, others only after several shifts.
The consequences of every mistake go far beyond issues in the workplace. Let the wrong person out, and the infection will ravage the city. Isolate suspicious employees, investigate anomalies, and launch new operations to contain the threat before it's too late.
Remember, it's not just about who you let in, but who or what you let out into the world.

Fun little game akin to Papers Please, but a fair bit easier. For the price it's definitely a recommend if you like that type of game.
Not recommending just to hopefully keep this game at the Mostly Positive threshold as I believe that's what it currently deserves Fundamentally, everything this game does similarly to Papers Please, it just does worse, the characters have non-existent personality and all say the same few repeated lines bar the tutorial character who serves to essentially exposition dump you the rules of the game and why you are progressing in mechanics. Essentially, there is nothing investing you into any bit of the world or characters like there is in Papers Please. The economic segment that plays between days where you must feed your character and upgrade your items serves basically zero purpose and I can only see it being a holdover from their inspiration in Papers Please, believing that because that game had it that they must also have it. The gameplay itself is probably the closest in quality to Papers Please, being pretty decent, though the gameplay doesnt feel as fluid and natural due to the look up and down mechanic present in this, if all the information was just conveyed in one screen as it is in Papers Please it would just be plain better. This does not mean the game doesn't have any positives, the ideas behind the game are genuinely great and are the reason behind why I wishlisted and bought the game on day one, the mixture of the setting behind "Please don't touch anything" and the gameplay of "Papers, Please" is a genuinely fascinating concept and all the sci-fi references thrown in are fun to see. It's just such a shame that as it stands it currently fails to even live up to the games it is inspired by, and is actively just worse. I personally will be refunding, but I will keep an eye on the game and its updates in the hope that they can improve upon the game and have it live up to its potential.

This game is interesting...but in a good way. The whole concept and art style of the game is what got me on board to play it. The different levels to the story also correlating with the new items and procedures that you get through is pretty sweet! My only complaint is that sometimes the anomalies take a few day restarts to understand which can suck and hinder your overall progression. Maybe the developers need to add a better way of explaining the morning instructions and what an anomaly looks like for the more in depth procedures.
Pros/General description: - Combination of papers please and SCP with good dose of humor, which was the main reason to purchase the game when I saw it. - Nice, funny, detailed, thoughtful pixel art animations / graphics i.e. blast on the wall when peoples are getting shot behind the scene is making me smile even after seeing it dozens of times. 3 hours to beat the game first time, but apparently have some branching / different solutions / story-lines that I have not gone through yet. Cons / Feedback for authors: - Game could use some more balance - a lot of upgrades are expensive and give very minor benefits - this applies to practically all the "scan" upgrades, even after authors declared that they worked on the balance in last few updates. - Some minor Poilish translation issues - inconsistent naming of some information in instructions, and I'm not talking about
generalization of some terms, i.e. call guards for animals in Rorschach test and then providing a bear, wolf or other animals; example would be some of description in tasks instructions differing with description in manual for the continuum ripout on skin, which might be confusing on what exactly to look for.
. -- Some names of conditions for the characters in elevators brought from underground are too long in PL translation and do not fit into space where the condition is displayed. - Manual could be expanded to include explanation of mechanics that are not clear but part of requests from the special characters i.e.
punching the worm with the needle - it might not be clear how the worm in the vein looks like
. In my opinion all the introduced mechanics of the game, even if they are provided in other form i.e.
blood tests
should be included in the manual once introduced. - Some other players also complained that when replaying the game in other "branches" (after completing the first run), tutorials are reintroduced. Authors disabled those tutorials in the replays, in one of the last few updates. I think they might still be usfeul when players are returning to the game after some time, so I'd suggest to rather make an option in the settings to enable/disable tutorials.
Игра взрывает мозг под конец как сюжетом так и геймплеем.
