You're a security officer deep within Area 51. Scan the staff, verify clearances, and decide who can enter the elevator and who absolutely mustn't leave. The deeper you go, the less certain you are that anyone standing before you is still human.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Security 51 is an atmospheric security guard simulator inspired by Papers, Please, and SCP paranoia. You're on duty in the underground bunker of Area 51, where the most dangerous part begins at the elevator: the shaft descends for miles down to unknown levels. Whether it's laboratories, anomalies, inhumane experiments, or something alien—you're not supposed to know. Your task is simple: let in those who have access and stop those who don't... even if everything looks "right" on the surface.
Everyone who passes through your checkpoint carries papers and passes. Your job is to check names, positions, clearance levels, and time, ensuring the number of people entering and leaving matches, and pay attention to any oddities. As time passes you'll catch yourself thinking that something's wrong more and more, and the only thing to rely on will be the protocols. But even they can be wrong.
With experience, you'll gain increasingly more accurate methods of identity verification, such as blood testing. Did that janitor simply open the wrong door, or are they a spy for an enemy government? Or are they not even human? When in doubt, quarantine the suspect. Sometimes you'll make mistakes and lock up an ordinary employee, and sometimes you'll find a titanium cell ripped open from the inside. Some decisions will have immediate consequences, others only after several shifts.
The consequences of every mistake go far beyond issues in the workplace. Let the wrong person out, and the infection will ravage the city. Isolate suspicious employees, investigate anomalies, and launch new operations to contain the threat before it's too late.
Remember, it's not just about who you let in, but who or what you let out into the world.

I'm having so much flippin' fun playing and checking everything is in order. The variety of things to check is great - a new blood check just popped up and threw me off my rhythm but I worked it out. Do highly recomend !

Its a good game but the character noise is annoying especially the guard also they need to work on their explanation the photo level you need to move the camera around not only taking a face photo
I think about this game as an investment, because as I can see, the author is very active, trying to rescue this game. The fact is - the trailer bought me, but I couldn't get through the whole beginning, nothing interesting were happening yet. It was hard to read anything, because the font is tough! But my eyes aren't the best, so... Voices were so irritating, I never made it on time or fully understood all the basic mechanics. If I want to try out things, I lose the day, which comes with consequences. Sometimes you need 3 x 35$ burgers to be full, when every penny counts, because of heavy punishments for errors. ...for now! It needs time to see something unique there, but the game doesn't fully encourage us to do so. As author is actively responding to any in-game reports and the patchs+game expansions are coming with updates. After 6-8 months, it can be a totally different game. I'm leaving it for now, coming back later and I'm sure there is going to be as hard fun, as hard my dopamine hit was watching the trailer. Generally positive, good investment!
I can't recommend it. As much as I like the theme and the humor in the game, it loses its way and becomes tedious. You end up doing the same thing over and over again. That part is fine—I'm used to that. But the problem is that there are four activities, and the one you spend all your time on—analyzing people—turns out to be the least important. The other activities are barely explained, yet they constantly cause you to get a "game over." The game is poorly designed in this regard. You have to activate activities around the city, but it’s impossible to make heads or tails of it; meanwhile, something bad grows exponentially and kills you. You have to capture people in the elevator. Nothing is explained—not the reason why, nor the purpose. You capture them? They go to quarantine. You run experiments on them. Which ones? Why? For what purpose? None of that is explained. The result? Game over. You either start from scratch or go back to a specific day—but you don't know which day to choose. You go back, and you get the same result all over again. You might be perfect at analyzing every single person, but you have no idea what to do with the rest. Seriously, I’m fed up. Whoever designed this part of the game clearly doesn't want you to have fun—honestly.
