Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Jul 30 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
You know what's going to happen. Now profit from it.
Second Chance at a Billion is a dark comedy roguelike where you travel back in time to trade real historical stock market data from 2000–2024. You know the dot-com crash is coming. You know 2008 will happen. You know exactly when to buy and when to run.
The only question is whether you can turn $10,000 into $1 billion before the SEC catches up with you.
How It Works
Each run spans two years of real market history. Your hedge fund boss sets escalating quarterly targets — $15K, $50K, $250K, all the way up to $1 billion. Miss a target and you're fired. Get too greedy and you're arrested. Survive both and you might just make history.

Reviews
I will edit this if changes are made Pros --Fun premise --Roguelike elements facilitate progression Cons --Unwieldly UI, with ZERO customization options --Prices do not accurately reflect historic prices, so it's difficult to actually plan a run --YOU CANNOT SHORT STOCKS ... Honestly, the whole premise of this game is built on the idea of profiting from financial crisis. This is an INTEGRAL financial tool that is NECESSARY for a game like this.
Slow burn game as it takes time to unlock feature, but addictive once it gets going
It's fun. It really puts into perspective how precise you have to be to meet ever-increasing targets
