Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 12.14/day in the week to Sep 14 → 29.5/day in the week after.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 14: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Fun game with friends Unfortunately if you play alone you will FEEL the Microsoft metaphorical THROBBING fat ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this shell of a former good game. Every update is a quid pro quo but the quid is more than the quo, they will add ♥♥♥♥ but they will also ♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥, the Microsoft way. Whether it's bugs or bloating content to get your play time. It's just like Windows update, IF NOBODY ASK FOR IT WHY ADD IT. Also WHY DO WE NEED TO LOG IN INTO MICROSOFT ACCOUNT, BIND IT TO STEAM INSTEAD WTF IT'S 2026 Half the time servers works nicely, the other half well you already know. I still play with friends because playing with good friends is a fun time. If you playing alone you are getting pinned and pounded.
its impressive how the devs manage to make every single feature intentionally obtuse. not to mention the lag. microsoft can afford to fund a genocide but not servers that host reliable connections.
This game is a lot of fun untill some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ come by and ruin that fun for you
I did not care for Sea of Thieves. I bought it to play with friends, but quickly lost interest due to frequency of griefing in public servers. It seems like a well enough made game, easy to control, with clear objectives, but it was just not a good fit for my playstyle, not enough building, or single player content. If these things are important to you, I can't recommend Sea of Thieves.
The removal of diving is going to ruin this game for casual players who only have a couple hours to play. Spend 20 minutes just sailing to where you need to go to maybe survive encounters with other players who want to grief you and steal your loot. It also promotes toxic gaming behaviors.
First of all, the game is not made for me. There is no meaningful progression after you buy your ship. The quest are bland and kind of generic? Pirate's stuff, just... that. There is no real story I suppose I just don't like this kind of meaningless treasure hunting, but again, I bought the thing, so I got a vote
if u r a solo player, this game is not for u.
