Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.

This game is a bit more dinky than I remember.
That's the main thing. I breezed though this, and much like a plain hamburger without a bun, the actual story of the game is pretty forgettable. And boy, is is a time capsule of 2012, which while in some ways is charming, is also a bit of a system shock comparing to my fuzzy memories of playing this on the 3DS. I think I remember being slightly disappointed with the game then, too. Especially compared to Super Scribblenauts well honed & hand designed levels. Plus the merits to give the whole rigmarole a sense of progress, nor is there any advanced play/replay value. Don't get me wrong. The game is fun, (as I wouldn't have spent the time with it otherwise,) and I'm pleasantly surprised it runs as well as it does. But the solutions expected of you can sometimes be quite narrow, such that you can become stumped until a hint spells out, "No, the developer was thinking of [foo], not [bar]." Sure, you can play as the extended Maxwell family, but why the $%*^ would I want to play as Tots, who is a literal baby? I'd prefer the simpler avatars of the previous title. And yes, there is an "open world", but it may as well say, "pick a biome". Which I suppose with as many ports the games had, there was going to be some limitations, but on a 1080p screen (much less many of the 4K+ screens in use today), these landscapes are absurdly small, and serve little purpose aside from (impressively hand drawn) set dressing. This game is fun like a sparkler. It's going to be very ephemeral, and other games are going to be actual fireworks. It'll evaporate the moment you're done with everything.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Good old game where first half of problems can be done with shotgun and other half with dynamite.
Explorando o Caderno e o Mundo
lowkey.... boring and repetitive??? can be fun, but it's a lot less fun than it was 10 years ago
As my first foray into this series, I would say it's fine as a puzzle game but not stellar in any area. Despite the "Unlimited" in the title, I sometimes felt punished for trying creative solutions outside of the limited pool of "correct" options, and rewarded for laziness. I could solve most issues by adding adjectives like "harmless" to monsters, "small" to obstacles, and "gun" for whatever else. There were also a number of physical hiccups, like trying to interact with an object that's behind another object making Maxwell constantly run straight into the blocking object was annoying. The unskippable cutscenes were also tedious. My real complaint is the implementation of touchscreen controls. Of course, having a 3DS game on PC gives the advantage of quickly typing out solutions, which I appreciate. The issue is that clicking and dragging (which are REQUIRED for the core aspects of puzzle-solving) on a touchscreen is much less painful than on PC. My arthritic fingers were constantly inflamed while playing this game. There's only a few keyboard shortcut options, like Starite vision or object creation, which is nice, but there's so many elements of the UI and core gameplay which don't even give the option. This is made worse by gameplay elements like needing to redo everything whenever you die or reset a level, and needing to drag objects in proximity to the quest-givers.
Very good kids game, regreted trying to 100% after the first 5 levels but a commitment is a commitment
The game brought back part of my childhood, as much as it is an easy game now, most things solved simply, some easter egg riddles and characters that tie to pop culture moments. If you are going for perfected games, this game is really easy to 100%. If in doubt, greek fire.
This game was kinda life changing for 11 year old me
