About
A low-poly first-person simulator set in a stylised Australian take on the global e-waste crisis.
Step into the steel-capped boots of an Aussie E-Waste Scrapper.
Hunt down discarded electronics, dismantle them piece-by-piece, and extract valuable materials like Copper, Silver, and Gold, along with lower-value materials such as Iron, Aluminium, Brass, and Plastic.
Sell your scrap for cash, manage your expenses and fluctuating market prices, and expand your operation through smart investments and upgrades.
Every playthrough is shaped by your choices and deep dynamic systems: daily e-waste variety, weather-affected solar power, hundreds of component combinations inside E-Waste, and ever-changing market prices.
A New Game includes a short guided tutorial (10-15 minutes) on Day 1 where time is frozen and energy is capped. Use this time to explore and learn the systems at your own pace. In-game manuals are also available for deeper dives into mechanics.
Best suited for players who enjoy hands-on tasks, meaningful progression, and managing real-world inspired challenges.
This is a realism-inspired simulator, not a sandbox destruction game. While dismantling electronics is a core detailed part of the experience, the game also includes bills, financial management, consequences to actions, and many interconnected systems. These elements seem to catch some players off-guard. If you're looking for a carefree sandbox game with no responsibilities, consequences or progression, this may not be the game for you. An Endless Sandbox Mode is not currently planned.
Head out early each morning to secure the best finds before rival scrappers beat you to them. Not all junk is worth your time, learning what to take (and what to leave behind) is part of the strategy. Pull Items apart down to the last Screw and gather the Raw Materials hidden inside.
Track fluctuating prices on your in-game PC. Sell raw or refined metals at the Scrap Yard, offload low-tier electronics at the Pawn Shop to free up time and storage for higher-value targets. Timing and focus can directly impact your profits.
Visit the Hardware Store to purchase better tools to speed up disassembly, solar panels to reduce utility costs & provide idle income, improved item transport options, expanded external storage, and other efficiency-focused upgrades. Spend wisely, not every upgrade provides immediate returns, managing your responsibilities alongside Upgrade purchases is essential.
In the mid-to-late game, reinvest your profits into a Furnace Set, Crucible, and Ingot Moulds to turn low-value raw Base Metals into high-value ingots. Further into the late game, unlock the Chemical Set to refine pure Gold and Silver for premium returns.
The Furnace & Chemical Sets as glamorous as they sound, do not start producing Ingots out of thin air. These systems take Valuable Raw Metals you've hopefully been accumulating for this very moment, to smelt & refine them into more valuable Ingots.
Earn XP in Disassembling, Trading, and Scavenging to level-up and gain perk points across three distinct skill trees. Specialise your playstyle and refine your strategy to maximise productivity and long-term profit.
Disassembly too slow? Lean into the Disassembly Skill Tree to improve both Materials Gained and Base Disassembly Speed.
Not enough Items around to keep moving forward? Lean into the Scavenging Skill Tree which will produce more Items for you to Scrap and allow you to carry more Raw Materials.
Can't earn enough Money to sustain your lavish playstyle? Lean into the Trading Skill Tree which Improves Buying & Selling Prices to various Stores.

Scrapping Simulator is a stylised exaggeration of today’s throwaway culture. It’s about uncovering value in the forgotten. Where some see trash on the curb, others see opportunity, raw materials waiting to be reclaimed.
This is a simulator built on freedom, consequence, and discovery. There is no single “correct” path, only the one you carve out for yourself.

The game simulates scrapping profession very good. I just hope the devs make the city more alive. NPCs, cars, ambient life. Overall it's a good game.
Scrapping simulator is a very unique game and it is really fun to dismantle electronic waste. As for now this game is very shallow and I hope this will change with future updates.
game is great for people who like taking apart things and grinding for better tools and better profit great devs very responsive to game bugs so iam changing my review on this game. DISCLAIMER:before leaving a not recommended review saying its buggy make sure you have all sim controllers unplugged handbrake wheel shifter etc or else your character will walk on its own including xbox or ps controller.

fun game, its still in early aces but i have not discovered a major bug so far
A very satisfying game to sit back and take stuff apart. No mess or bad weather like in real life. Hoping for more stuff to take apart like large appliances and more variety of things in bins.
If you enjoy tinkering around or have a curiosity for taking stuff apart this game was made for you. You'll also find a unique and no nonsense appeal to environmentally conscious players. What really stands out about this game from any other I've played is just how dedicated the developer is. The quality of support and community involvement is unprecedented especially for a solo development. After many hours playing I did encounter one serious bug, developer fixed and returned my save file after diagnosing the issue and patched it within an hour of reporting it. There's so much opportunity for expansion with the planned Open World Map. I have no doubt this game has a bright future ahead seeing how invested and methodical the developer is with polishing out all bugs in early access. In short this game is already quite enjoyable and has huge potential and an excellent developer behind it.
i love the game but i with you could buy more buckets
TLDR: - Wishlist if you want a finished game - Buy if you don't mind waiting and want to support the developer Promising game, really looking forward to it. Gameplay was smooth, did not notice any bug either. Currently (as of v0.41) the game clearly is not finished, which is to be expected of an Early Access game after all. The core gameplay loop and the progression is there and works pretty well. If I had to complain about something it would be this: - Decent variety of devices to disassemble, but since it is the core part it needs to be expanded. In the best case users could get the option to create mods. - The map is kind of small, but it is obvious it is meant to grow - Recycleable trash items that drop from dumpster-diving are very lacking, finding multiple keys and locks in every other trashcan makes no sense and it feels redundant (maybe trash in industrial areas being different to residential areas etc.). On the plus side this should be trivial to fix and does not really matter that much
i like it alot cant wait for more things to do
Absolutely loving this game! Running around and collecting free electronics just to take it apart and make money from its metals is surprisingly enjoyable. Even if it gets a bit repetitive, it's still quite fun and really chill. Also, after looking at the roadmap, I'm excited for what's to come!
