Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 5.14/day in the week to Jul 25 → 5.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
When the world is coming to an end, who would you want to speak to one last time?
In that final moment, if you could accompany souls wandering between life and death, what words would you choose to share with them?
Schrödinger’s Call gently unfolds a picture-book-like world.
It speaks softly to your heart, helping you notice what truly matters, once more.
Through the lingering regrets of others, we hope this story quietly shines a light on you too.
Twenty-one nanoseconds separate life from death.
The moon is about to fall, and only a moment remains before everything ends.
Mary wakes up in a strange room, her memories gone.
Guided by a mysterious cat named Hamlet, she becomes the “World’s Last Confidant.”
With a single phone by her side, Mary listens to the voices on the other end.
To the lives they lived, and the moments they left behind, just before the moon fell.
Phone calls left unfinished by the falling moon. Voices of those still trapped between life and death, waiting for someone to pick up the phone again.
Words left unsaid, feelings never realized, and the people they wished they could see one last time.
As Mary notes down these lingering regrets, chapter by chapter, she walks alongside the voices on the other end—and perhaps, you begin to see what truly matters as well.
How will Mary listen to the words of souls still wandering between life and death?
How will she walk alongside them?
And with only twenty-one nanoseconds left before the world ends, what words would you choose to share with them?

Schrödinger's Call is a game about listening. About empathy. About the empathy found within lies. About forgetting. About loneliness. And it handles all of these themes on a truly remarkable level. Unfortunately, the game is not always the most efficient, as it tends to repeat itself quite often. Some scenes are presented to the player multiple times in short succession, almost as if the game does not trust them to remember something for more than a few minutes. There are also a few situations where the player has to answer questions — but they are so ridiculously easy that you would almost have to try to get them wrong. The game tells several short stories, all woven into a larger, interconnected narrative, with the protagonist Mary always forming an emotional bond with the people she speaks to. Every story is well-written and filled with likable characters. They are mostly tragic, but often come with a sense of reconciliation and are occasionally lightened up by humor. Even so, I still found myself with tears in my eyes at the end of every story, and the final resolution hit me especially hard. The stories are not the only thing that is well-written — the presentation of Schrödinger's Call is equally impressive. The sound design is perfectly tailored to each scene and conveys the intended atmosphere wonderfully. I especially enjoyed the voices of the characters: they are unintelligible and sound heavily compressed, yet they still convey the unique qualities and emotions of each voice. Visually, the game uses many effects to create a strong sense of otherworldliness. I particularly loved Mary's notes in her diary. Schrödinger's Call elegantly transfers a physical thought experiment into the human state of mind. It is a game full of empathy for its characters. It knows exactly how to hit the right emotional notes, both in its beautiful and its tragic moments. I enjoyed it immensely. But what did you actually hear on the other end of the line?

I've been meaning to finish the game so I can post a review (It might be long and include spoilers) I found this game on a instagram reel (@watermelongamestv) It seemed pretty interesting so I bought it, at first it didn't seem as much as just Mary was just someone who answers phone and listens to peoples grief or their long regrets, etc. After episode 1 with lucy my god. It was so sad spoiler:
When it was lucy who killed the loan shark it made me cry because of how william was so young and the loan shark broke the telescope his mom gave him and she couldnt bear the sound of his cries and on the final call she pretended to be cathy and not herself like the promise she made to him
it broke me a lot. Episode 2 is my fav one, envy.
Thomas and Lia had an amazing bond, and they called everyday which is so cute. And when I found out that Lia was blind my jaw dropped. And when she left her house to go to the theater she wasn't found. And he was in so much grief. And even after her death he still called like she was there, It made me cry more as the episode went on and how when Mary pretended to be Lia (as well as william) to help Thomas and Lucy broke me amd how Thomas wanted to make Lia a star even though she was blind he was still dedicated
Episode 3 was where it turned a lil err
At first I thought violet was just some delusional person until I found out she was a moonchild (you'll understand later) it broke me and then later into the story when I found out what she did to Cyrus/Lucas parent's i was like holy shii and as it progressed it was more wild but it wasn't sad but more like shocking lol
Episode 4 is where things got wild my god
Lol quick thing, peter is so cute love him omg, but for philip it was so sad when I found out his daughter Amy was dead, as the story progressed I shed tears, and then it got wild
Episode 5 is where it was most wild ૮ o . o ; ྀིა
After I found out (I'm going to try not to spoil it all) that amy and Mary were living together and how lia died was so sad (it'll make sense when you play it) and how Mary pretended to be amy after her death just to talk to philip because marys dad abandoned her when she was little and all she wanted was to talk to someone :(( shes so cute I love her
The soundtracks and art is also very lovely I love them so much.
This will make sense once you finish the game: Mary is a good girl, a sweet little girl <3
Def would recommend this game but just prepare for it to make you think twice lol Thank you for reading this review (it's the longest I've ever wrote)

Beautiful But Missing So Much
Schrödinger’s Call is a visual novel that clearly aspires to deliver a deeply emotional experience but falls short of its potential due to several design choices and extremely slow pacing. The game was on the verge of greatness, with it's visuals and an evocative soundtrack, but ultimately, its linear structure and repetitive storytelling hold it back. You pick up the phone to save those in need of saving as the world is ending in 21 nanoseconds, between life and death. If we're focusing on aesthetics alone. It's a masterpiece in and of itself, but outside of that, there are many things I can't overlook. One of the main drawbacks is the lack of meaningful choices. The story unfolds in a strictly linear fashion, rendering player decisions inconsequential, as it simply repeats the question asked and then waits for you to "play out the role", even when you're eventually given some freedom to choose, once you fail and choose incorrectly, it's like all your immersion washes away. This, combined with the need to replay the same scenes multiple times before the plot advances, quickly becomes tedious. Dialogue repetition, particularly from the main character as they often reiterates the moments after a conversation, further hampering immersion. "Remember what they just said!?" *Plays that message* Wow, feels like forever ago... *Literally 60 seconds ago, the full conversation* The narrative struggles to maintain tension and motivation in its early hours. The first ten hours, in particular, can feel unfocused and confusing, making it difficult to stay engaged, because it's bouncing back and forth and each chapter is over 2-4 hours long. The story only starts to come together around the eleven-hour mark, but by then, the lack of player choice and control and the nature of these choices diminish the reveal of the moderate at best ending. There is a strong foundation. The minimalist, abstract art is beautiful, and while the music can sometimes overwhelm the senses, it generally complements the atmosphere well, even if it's very loud. The emotional resonance of the story may hit hard if you relate to the protagonist’s lifestyle, but otherwise, it isn't THAT good. For those seeking powerful, choice-driven narratives, I recommend exploring titles like Until Then, Mind’s Beneath Us, or Wani Hug That Gator. Schrödinger’s Call has its moments, which I agree are very well done, there were times it was on the verge of bringing me to tears, but it’s not the life changing experience it could have been. Improvements that would help elevate the game include: • Branching choices and multiple endings. • Concise storytelling and less repetition, as we have optional notebook access! • Greater narrative tension and stakes by branching outcomes. • Steam integration to acquire your name directly, instead of choosing an animal. Overall, my review while negative is a neutral approach to help you understand, it's not phenominal, but it is certainly beautiful and occasionally moving, but still lacks the depth and interactivity that define the genre’s best.
