About

Scavland is a hardcore survival RPG set in Zalesye, a land ravaged by war and the mysterious Mist.
You are a Vulture - a scavenger surviving on what the old world left behind. Explore abandoned settlements, take dangerous jobs, fight mutants and hostile survivors, and slowly build the equipment and reputation you need to push deeper into the wastes.
Ammunition is scarce, weapons can jam, radiation is everywhere, and preparation can mean the difference between returning with valuable loot or not returning at all.

Zalesye is home to different factions, settlements, traders, scavengers, and survivors, each trying to make a life in what remains of the world.
Meet their people, take quests, build relationships, and decide who you are willing to work with. Your reputation and choices shape how different groups treat you and what opportunities become available.
Some are trying to rebuild society. Others are simply trying to survive it.
Explore a handcrafted open world filled with abandoned structures, dangerous forests, irradiated swamps, hidden locations, mutants, bandits, and remnants of the old world.
But the surface is only part of Scavland.
Discover entrances to underground bunkers and other dangerous locations featuring procedural layouts, creating different spaces to explore across your playthroughs.
The further you leave the safety of known roads and settlements, the greater the danger - and the better the potential rewards.
Weapons are more than something you find and replace.
Collect firearms and attachments throughout the world and customize them to fit your needs. Change components, experiment with different configurations, and build weapons around your preferred playstyle.
Your equipment defines how prepared you are for the journey ahead. Build your loadout around where you are going, what you expect to encounter, and how much you are willing to risk.

Survival depends on more than what you can find in the wastes.
Traders offer weapons, equipment, attachments, supplies, and other valuable goods - but their best stock has to be earned.
Take jobs, complete requests, and build your reputation with the people of Zalesye. As your relationship improves, new items and opportunities become available.
Every expedition becomes part of a larger cycle:
Prepare. Explore. Scavenge. Survive. Return. Upgrade. Go deeper.

You survived being near-fatally shot by mysterious soldiers said to have come from a far-away land with no Mist.
Now you want answers.
The people of Zalesye speak of the East as a promised land beyond the RO-29 Highway - somewhere untouched by the Mist and the horrors consuming the Continent.
Whether those stories are true is another question.
Explore Zalesye, follow its stories, help its inhabitants, and uncover what the Mist is - and why you survived when you should have died.

All I ever wanted. Looking forward to next updates. I hope the developers add more complex mechanics, such as sleep, or at least rest and fatigue resolution, campfire, more injuries, and it would also require less loot to make the game feel more rewarding and hardcore. I also find the manual saving and easy way to find your backpack and all its contents after death a bit of a letdown. It's just my personal preference, but I'd rather welcome the fear of losing everything I've collected when going on a quest. Maybe this could be put in the next difficulty level where this setting would be there.
So much to like about this game! If you enjoy Gamma/Anamoly or just the stalker universe in general then Scavland is for you! The game is massive for the top-down format, characters are unique enemies are dangerous even something as simple as a rat can end a solid run so you always have to plan your journey before you head out the more prepared you are the better chances of survival you have. 11+hrs in and still have tons more to see! Also bunkers are procedural so if you get tired of the surface there is a whole game in the tunnels waiting to take all your gear XD. I would've had negative thing's to say for sure but the developers are so open and attentive that thing's are gonna be fixed before I even encounter them! Between them releasing a day 1 patch that implemented ton's of fixes to another major update coming anytime. If you want something unique and made with a player first mindset then this is the survival RPG you are missing!

Really cool 2D STALKER clone, with superb sprites & audio work. The devs listen to feedback and are really quick with their QoL additions, balancing & fixes. Cannot wait for the coop to come !
The game is great, it's quite hard like stalker G.A.M.M.A. i'm interested to see where this game goes with updates. The pixel graphics are absolutely gorgeous.
Just an amazing game in all respect. It gives the real feel of original S.T.A.L.K.E.R. with the top down view and very beautiful hand-crafted visuals. It has the potential to become a class in itself. Great work, Scavland team!
this game is so far amazing i havent ran into any problems myself i love the 2d stalker feel style the devs have went for the only thing i will say is 1 make day time last longer as i feel 80-90% of the time im playing in total darkness which is fun to play at night but does get repetitive and i feel like make the ai roam more i dont really come across much human ai apart from going to camps and the gunner/bandit camps but other then that i would reccomend this game to a stalker fan or just anyone that likes 2d art style and surival games
I im gonna try to keep it short i rly like the game im looking forward to see what the full game will be. pixel art, exploring, looting and atmosphere is spot on if you like games like stalker it guive the same vibe. the gameplay and gunfights are good and not borring ive been caught lacking by ennemies out of nowhere numurous times it keep you on your toes. alltho i have some issues and keeping in mind im playing while the game is not finish yet thos problems might allready have been adressed. -im 26h deep and starting to expirience a lack of purpose just endless go kill that or go get me this i think the game need a end goal like reach a place, go get vengence against a main enemy faction or escape the mist. -ive seen some glitches and bugs like 2 items at the same spot in my bag shadows flickering and game crashes -wepons variety is scarce and think they should add more type of guns and add grenades to the game so i would recomand this game its worth playing it as it is. the game has crasy potentiel and keep up the good worck devs you have my support
It's worth it. The developers listen to the opinion of the players and really improve the game with each update.
Its not that easy how it looks, but a nice mix from Stalker and other Games but try it yourself. Its worth an look
