Reviews

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 23: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

+ Alien world + Game looks better and more epic starting with the 4th chapter (compared to somewhat dull chapters 1-3) + Sci-fi storyline + The game gets more serious in the 5th chapter (soundtrack, visuals) - Cutscenes are lower-resolution lower-bitrate videos - Displayed sound waves do not correspond to speech in message playbacks - Enemy bodies aren't casting any shadows on any rendering quality setting, except for Kate's flashlight - Gamepad vibration persistence bug in chapter 6 - Graphics quality of some objects (such as parts of tree trunks, rocks, ground) is on par with Tomb Raider released in 2013, while this game was released in 2023 - Kate's feet do not properly touch the ground in cutscenes - Lower-quality textures compared to year-2023 AAA games - Mediocre lip sync with speech - No AI-based upscaling (DLSS, FSR nor XeSS), built-in scaling solution results in a blurry image - The environment in the first 3 chapters looks dull because it lacks specular reflections and color palette - Wind with snowflakes severely degrades facial skin color/shading
Absolutely loved it!! The game looks beautiful, the soundtrack is great and the story had me hooked pretty much from the beginning. I honestly had a hard time putting it down because I always wanted to see what happened next. The cutscene animations could have been a bit better, but that’s really one of the few complaints I have. I also really liked how linear the game is. It never felt bloated or like it was wasting my time, but at the same time the world never felt small. The level design is really well done and exploring the different areas was a lot of fun. Combat was probably one of my favorite parts. Switching between the different elements and actually having to use them depending on the enemy or the environment made the fights feel much more interesting. I especially liked that the surroundings weren’t just decoration and could actually be used during combat. Overall, just a really great game. Would absolutely love to see more of this!
Terrible game, prime example of devs who didn't played their own game before releasing it.
Its a fun enough generic 3rd person shooter with special abilities. The hook is that different enemies have different weaknesses depending on the environment that youre in, so you have to use the correct elements in the correct situation. I wish that the gadgets and abilities were more of a requirement than a nice to have, but realistically if you know how to tackle the encounters, you wont have to use them with all the utility your guns have. The story is straight up bad, with a bunch of sciency mumbo jumbo being thrown into dialogue that does nothing except help you understand that these characters are scientists. The big reveal at the end would be most other games still image prologue. I finished the game and still cant mention a single personality trait of a single character outside of kates "i gotta find/save my team", and i think a character is known to keep a legally distinct labubu? Its dry in the story department. But the environments and combat are fun for a single playthrough if bought on sale.
good concept. simple yet something new. small yet memoriable.
I really want to like this game, but... I just can't. I can't get past how ugly and expressionless the protagonist is. No one wants a female protagonist that looks like a stoned dog. Games like the Fable remake and Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet are bombing because the main character just looks like ass. They do not have to be ridiculously over-pretty, just... not not like this. Not like a cardboard cutout of a stoner.
Good game👍
